Beautiful hotel in downtown Stavanger. Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy walk to cafe’s, restaurants and shopping. Quiet area makes drop off and pick up easy. Breakfast was excellent! Will stay next time we are in Stavanger.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
The room was quite small with a poor view, which was not what I expected.
What was most concerning, however, was my interaction with the front desk staff. When I asked simple questions about the hotel amenities—specifically about the gym, sauna, and other facilities—the staff member asked me who had booked my reservation. She seemed reluctant to provide basic information about the hotel’s offerings, which I found puzzling and unprofessional. Guests should be able to inquire about hotel facilities regardless of who made the booking.

Poor cofffee quality in such a high end hotel
The breakfast coffee must improve. It is like brown water and even when you order a cappuccino it is still not a proper coffee but some kind of powder dissolved in hot water.

Honestly do invest in a proper Italian coffee machine asap 🙏

Unfortunately, the service in the hotel is not very helpful. I forgot my charger and asked me for a 84 € expensive service to send it. The rest is good quality but nothing special.

Good. A bit warm in the room, but it was 29 degrees outside.

Lovely historic hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in one of their larger suites - it was spacious, had great harbour views and was generally comfortable. Good breakfast in a nice dining room. However, do note that the hotel has no AC (which should be fine most of the time), which can be a challenge on a rare hot day. The bathtub in our room also wasn't ideally set up - it easily leaked water when showering.

The room is very small and there is no air conditioner. The price is not as good as living in radison blu
The front desk said that you can open the windows when it’s hot, but when you open the windows, you’re in the machine room and there’s machine noise

Very nice hotel specially when they renovation for it. Staff are friendly and very good services from their side. Location is wonderful with nice view.
