Great place to stay, friendly staff, and unlike most 5-star hotels with tall buildings and fancy swimming pools, the bathrooms can be locked and the WiFi is free and fast as well. The location is strategic because it is located in the center of the country and it is near to a bus station and MRT station too.
Edit:
Just randomly came back to this review almost 5 years after writing it, was shocked to see that this place is temporarily closed. The owner is a kind person and can speak my native language (Indonesian) very fluently. I wish him all the best on whatever he is doing right now.

nice place for backpacker.. near at MRT Station lavender.. Cheap payment, clean, good vibes for us from another country, lot of restaurant in there.. Recomended

A nice place for short-term stays. Smells strongly of lemongrass especially at the doorways. Staff are friendly and accommodating if there are any problems. Breakfast is bread, jam, peanut butter, and coffee/tea which you need to make yourself. Toilet is cleaned regularly. A very good place for the price.

Cheap price for a big place. The common areas are huge. The breakfast is ok and very light, don't expect much. This is a good place to stay for big groups. The lights inside the rooms are a dim. There are also limited sockets inside the room. You can get several cards for entrance but you need to leave a valid ID. The rest rooms are also clean and has hot showers. The reception is also very nice and very accomodating. They also have an iron and washing machine in the building.

near to lavander st. its cheap, but every floor is only have 2 bathroom, and its quite dark. but overall is oke. the staff was so helpfull

The facility for that price? It is more than great! Location just perfect. It helped me alot to move here and there. The problem only two: power socket for upper bed not available and. . . . A staff was bad tempered that scolded me in terms of he just needed to advice me instead. It was big hole for my love for this accommodation.

Not a bad place, but the information we got when we called ahead was inaccurate. It is a pretty clean hostel with a good location. All guests share bathrooms and there can be times of waiting for a shower or other use of the facilities. Breakfast is just bread, spread and instant coffee, so it is strange that they would put it in the name.
