Coroana Brasovului in Brasov

Overall, I liked my stay here--most especially, I liked the front desk staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful! They willingly stored luggage for me after my check-out time, since I went on a castle tour and could not take it with me. The room I had was nice and looked out over the church and "first school" across the way, so that was awesome. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy but perfect for me. The issues, however, were as follows: 1) The drapes were too thin and too much light came into the room early in the morning, making sleeping in impossible ! They need a heavier backing for blocking the light. 2) No coffee pot or hot water kettle was provided for the room, and I was not allowed to get hot water from the dining hall (except at breakfast time) which was really annoying. I had to ask front desk staff for hot water for my tea, repeatedly! 3) I did NOT have hot water for my shower--only lukewarm--there was no apology forthcoming after I reported this problem, or any compensation for this issue, which I thought was a serious shortcoming. 4) The walls were thin and I had noisy neighbors, keeping me from being able to fall asleep late at night...
In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel IF they remedy these issues!

The hotel is in a good location, only a short walk from the town centre. My room was small, but perfectly adequate for a short stay. I had a peaceful night’s stay. Breakfast is ok, although not a massive choice. They don’t do evening meals, but there’s a nice restaurant opposite, or you can walk into the town centre and use one of the restaurants there (I HIGHLY recommend Prato restaurant). Staff are friendly and helpful. Free wifi is available, although it doesn’t work well at all.

Went there for a training, so I didn't stayed there. Low quality coffee and pastry. Also slow service.
