Hotel Kolping in Brasov

This was the second time we stayed in hotel Kolping, all staff are friendly and there to help if needed, the hotel has a car park and it is situated on a hill with a beautiful view of Brasov. The city itself is beautiful and we will return in future.

Tricky to find initially, hilly location. Parking very tight but we got parked every day. BUT… We loved this hotel- very clean and comfortable. There was not kettle in the room but we were given one when we asked- just went to get provisions for tea and coffee making. Breakfast was lovely. Peaceful location, great city views. Friendly staff- particular mention to Rares. We arrived at 9.15pm and hadn’t eaten- traffic was horrendous on our journey from Bucharest! The restaurant was closing down for the night and he offered us soup with meatballs and bread. It was so delicious and we were so grateful. He was also very accommodating throughout our stay. There was no bar but a lovely terrace to sit on. The hotel was central to several activities and of course Brasov itself. A bit of a walk back up the hill but not too bad. Overall, we loved it! A lovely hotel with great views ! The room was lovely and bright, it included a small fridge and slippers ( if required ). The bedroom has doors that open onto a small balcony. So views can be seen, There is a lift to all floors.(also the car park ). A great place to sit in the evening is the balcony by the bar which has table and chairs outside.Food can be eaten outside as well. Breakfast was a choice of various foods and hot/cold drinks and juices, which was very pleasant, Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel situated close to the Old Town, very attentive and helpful staff, many parking spaces available, very clean rooms, quiet and nice, very nice breakfast with many choices, we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location. I stayed in a city view room which was really impressive. Rich breakfast, good diner.

One of the best places to stay when in Brasov. Hill view from the top, over the city. Uber clean rooms and very nice people. Not mentioning the food and game room :)

Good but not great. Rooms and hotel are super nice and the location is absolutely perfect. But their restaurant sucks. Big time.
