Муссон Отель in Yalta

Spontaneously went with her husband for the November holidays in the Crimea. We decided to spend one day in Yalta. For the price-quality ratio, plus the availability of parking, we chose the Musson hotel. While we were on the road, we discussed the points related to check-in, room and parking (150 rubles per day) with Vitaly through feedback. We took a deluxe suite (in a building built in 1905). I did not take a photo, but the photo and description of the room on the sites fully correspond to what is in fact. Excellent mattress and pillows (we had a good night's sleep after a day on the road). There is a non-cash payment, incl. and for parking.
As I got to the territory, I remembered that they had already stayed in this hotel 14-15 years ago when they came to Crimea for the first time with a tour, though they lived in a different building.
Of the minuses (for me, very small, because we stopped by just for a day): it's a pity that there is no balcony; there are not enough hooks for towels in the shower (only 2 hooks, and 4 towels); there is not enough ottoman or stool, there is one armchair in the room.

I rarely leave reviews. I usually do this either when I like everything very much, or when there is extreme negativity left.

My husband and I took a holiday for the first time in Yalta. Our first joint trip was planned and, of course, we wanted only positive impressions from it.
I chose a hotel for a long time, evaluating both the interior of the rooms where we would like to live, the availability of our own food outlet, preferably included breakfasts, as well as the relative proximity to the sea.
The Musson Hotel fell under these parameters. I booked a room very quickly: I made a part of it by transfer for the reservation, and the rest, most of it, my husband and I paid already upon arrival with a card.
I do not want to rant, but I will say right away about the pros:
1. The number of rooms is excellent. We took a superior room with a balcony and were completely delighted. The renovation is new, the room has everything you need (slippers, hair dryer, soap and rye accessories that are given out every day, a kettle, cups with plates and spoons, a TV, etc.). There is a large balcony-terrace where you can dry things and just read a book. In short, I really liked everything here. The interior of the room, by the way, caught in pleasant lilac and white colors.
2. Daily cleaning. We liked the cleaning service so much that we decided to thank the diligent worker with a box of sweets. I think she was pleased:) Towels, bed linen are changed every day. Everything was put together very neatly. Soap accessories are constantly updated.
3. New reception with very nice staff. There is even a bookcase where you can borrow and read a book.
4. Restaurant on the territory, a bar with a big screen where movie nights were held. We were not in the bar, but we saw that people constantly hung out there. The booking was made with breakfast included. They were worried that they would be scarce, but they were mistaken. Breakfast is very satisfying. Consisted of 3 parts: 1. Choice: porridge, muesli or cereal with milk 2. Pancakes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages with vegetables or fruit salad 3. Bread, sausage, cheese and butter. Plus, of course, tea or coffee. I have listed all the dishes, but the menu changes every day. For lunch and dinner there are different soups and main courses. It is possible to eat indoors or outdoors on the terrace.
5. The presence of various entertainments: movie nights, a pool with sunbeds, ping-pong, a small horizontal bar, books. There is wi-fi
6. Safety. In this regard, we did not fail with the hotel, since our vacation fell on the fateful period of the storm in Yalta. 06/18/21 Half of the residents and tourists were evacuated from coastal hotels from the first line. Information about the storm reached us only by rumors. The hotel is located on a hill somewhere in the 12-15 minute walk from the waterfront. All mud flows flowed down, absolutely not affecting the hotel. Unlike other hotels, there was always water (which flows from the tap) in the hotel.
7. Cost. Compared to other options, the price is very affordable in 9 days.
In short, those who are going to rest in Yalta, know that this is a very good option for accommodation.

Wonderful hotel! The rooms are always clean, with a modern renovation, with an excellent shower and toilet. In the corridors themselves, everything is neat and clean. The dining room is just as wonderful. You can sit inside, warm, if the weather is bad, you can outside. There are televisions both inside and outside. The area itself is wonderful. It is located in the shade of trees and the sun never scorches its head. There is a bar, swimming pool, benches, swings and everything you need. There is only one minus. When you return to the hotel, you need to go up a decent hill. It can be tough for the elderly. But Yalta is all like that, and this must be taken into account. As a last resort - this slide has a road and you can catch a car and climb on it. Well, or negotiate with the administration in advance. I think the problem will be solved.

Nice hotel - courteous staff, well maintained grounds, gorgeous pool, pool bar with cold beer and snacks. In the oldest building in 1913 where he loved to rest Nicholas II, remained his favorite tea room. Rooms similar to the Soviet, with the package and wooden Windows, but everything is clean and well maintained. Recommend)
