A really great find! Super clean and cosy, good breakfast included. Staff speak English and are very helpful. A short walk to a large supermarket with lots of good food and not far from the main train station.
clean small hostel which includes simplest breakfast. There is nice park just beside it where you can relax, ride bicycle etc; The only difficulty is to communicate with the stuff if you don't know Russian.

terrible place, they didn't even have sheets and pillow for my bed, they told me to wait 1 hour but after all the day at night nothing changed, i cannot even sleep because i didn't have a bed! but the worst thing was the guy at the reception, he was drunk and was laughing instead of helping me, he didn't care about me and ignored me completely, then he disappeared. place like that should not exist...
The transportation is convenient, near the train station. After checking out, I can rest in the lobby while waiting for the plane.

Located near the train station and although not central, is well connected by public transport. A nice couple is running it, they're very kind and keen to help. Kitchen is very well equipped and everything is spotless! Plus the beds are really comfy. It exceeds the expectations and has great value. Would definitely recommend!

But no - everything is clean and beautiful, a bunk bed in a 10 m2 room. It is noticeable that there used to be two beds. Really clean and welcoming hostel, perfect location for the train station. All expected facilities are maintained to a high standard and reasonably priced.

The hotel is normal, inexpensive, but how much they ask, they give so much. Recently renovated. Good place to stay near the train station. Downstairs there are cafes, a shop. Recommend for the unpretentious traveller. However, I did not see deluxe and standard rooms, I used an economy room. Good rate 50% of the cost for 12 hours.
This gostinitsa or guesthouse is next to the main train station in Irkutsk. It caters to tourists who need a place while traveling. The rooms are clean, but a bit old. It's a good place to flop while waiting for a train or meeting a friend. It is possible to rent a room by the day or for a few hours. If you overstay by 5 minutes, they get rather angry.
I liked everything, took a room for a day. The room has a shower, kettle, TV, fan. Window opens, bed linen. For the price, less than in the rest rooms at the station, 2400 day (for two). Be sure to come back, if need be.
I think it is ideal if you have to wait the night between the trains / train and the plane. Paid for a double room in 1200, so much would cost the waiting room at the station, but there are always no places.
