Art Deko Nevskij Hotel

A nice hotel, cozy and clean, with paintings everywhere on the walls, friendly staff, good breakfasts, and a shared microwave and washing machine. The metro is two stops away by bus or a 5-minute taxi ride for 85-100 rubles. Nevsky Prospekt 2 is a 7-8-minute metro ride away.

The hotel is good, but I'd give it a 4* minus. Overall, it's not bad; it's small, but beautifully decorated inside. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and tidy. There was a mini-fridge, which was convenient, but it was so noisy that it was hard to sleep. The desk was small, just big enough for a laptop. I really wish it were bigger. It was already inconvenient to have tea or a snack. There was no kettle in the room, but that wasn't a big deal for us. There was a water cooler on the floor, but we had to go down to the second floor because the hot water tap was broken and no one had fixed it in a week. There was also an ironing board and iron on the floor. There was a cafe that was only open for breakfast in the morning. Lunch was not available during the day, which is a big minus for a 4* hotel. There is unguarded parking on the premises, but both it and the entrance to the hotel are unpaved. Overall, I recommend it if you'll be away all day.

It's okay, not overpriced, just okay. The only major downside for me at the moment is the "double" bed, made from single mattresses joined together. There's no worse solution; it only ends up hurting your back. So check this when booking and checking in. The breakfasts are quite decent and appropriate for the price range. But don't expect a huge selection; for example, there's no real meat, only sausages, casseroles, and ham.

A nice, quiet, and cozy hotel. There are lots of nice paintings in the lobby, hallways, and rooms. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is included in the room rate, a buffet. The staff is friendly. I'll be back next time.

They're either written by competitors or some evil degenerates. Everything was top-notch – the service, the cleaning, and the excellent room. The photo is real.

I found the location convenient; I chose it for the bus route—the stop is right around the corner. At night, I had to open the window slightly because of the heat in the room. Then I figured out how to turn down the heating. The traffic noise didn't bother me because I'm used to it and don't mind it anymore. Breakfast was simple and filling. We ate lunch and dinner elsewhere. The room had a great Xiaomi electric kettle with a stainless steel inner pot. The water didn't smell like plastic—it boiled to your heart's content. I brought a couple of tea bags from the cafeteria, and I filled my water supply from the water cooler downstairs. Overall, for my unpretentious taste, everything was perfect.

Good hotel! Clean, tidy, reasonable prices. The only drawback, due to the pandemic, the kitchen does not work, but you can warm up and eat in a cafe, there is a dining room next to the hotel.

The hotel is original in its interior design next to the Alexander Nevsky Lavra. The second floor with rooms without windows, for an amateur) the rooms have all the amenities. The hotel is small, next to the park, 10 minutes walk to the metro, you can get there by trolleybus or bus. Good location. To the Moscow railway station by taxi 5-10 minutes. I recommend.
