Vremena Goda Hotel

Visa letter with no handwritten signature caused ME trouble with the embassy. Reception desk on the 5th floor, no elevator. We had to ask to clean the room. However, friendly staff, good location, WiFi available.

I rarely write negative reviews, this is the second negative review this year out of 36 bookings. I have been to St. Petersburg more than 20 times, every time I try to stay in a new hotel.

The rating of the hotel (8.7 booking) is clearly not true. Yes, it is clear that this is a mini-hotel in the middle price segment, and not a 4-star chain hotel.

Minuses:
- the large double bed turned out to be two single beds side by side. But there is a gap of 15 centimeters between us.
The beds were incredibly squeaky.
- to get from the reception to the room you need to open 4 doors with 3 different keys.
- the greasy TV remote was wrapped with tape and stopped working after 20 minutes.
- Breakfast is extremely poor (porridge, bread, cheese and yoghurts), takes place on the 2nd floor, and the hotel itself is on the 5th.
- high fifth floor without an elevator (in fact, not a minus, but it is important to warn)

Pros:
- very spacious room
- located right on Nevsky
- tea and sugar in the room did not regret:)

In total, this is an honest 2 stars and the price tag would be justified if there were windows on the Nevsky and / or access to the roof like in hotels in the neighborhood. Recommend looking for another option before booking this hotel.

Low budget option, don't hope for any atmosphere. Facilities are ok, location amazing. Breakfasts very poor.
