Vacationing with my wife. Reality exceeded all expectations! I'm not afraid to say that the service in "Barskiye platy" is at the level of the best European standards. The room is comfortable and quiet, the breakfast is very tasty and varied. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

This is a hotel in the city of Sergiyev Posad Russia.
The trip to this city from Moscow is about 74.8km, which can be taken in 2 hours 41 minutes by car. If you don't want to be bothered by driving, you can choose a bus or train.

Sergiyev Posad itself is not a big city, most visitors to this city only take a round trip and not stay overnight.
But I decided to stay overnight in this city and chose the hotel Barkiye Polati.
The hotel, located in the center of the city and above the hills, takes about 25 minutes to walk from the train station.

The hotel looks quiet from the outside as there is no activity but all activities are carried out inside the hotel.
This hotel looks magnificent and the building is sturdy.
The room I stayed in was on the top floors with a glass window overlooking the sky and a sloping roof.

Good and comfortable wooden bed to sleep on, look heavy and classic with carvings on the edges. Clean bathroom and free drinking water dispenser.
They also provide free WIFI and good breakfast with a buffet system.

Pros:
Fresh hotel. Numbers respectively not killed.

Somewhere nearby there is a railway, so it is difficult to fall asleep with the windows open. Suddenly, a train may move loudly.

Comfortable, clean and cosy rooms, brand new furniture, crisp white bed linen. Polite staff, who are very easy to find a common language. Pleased with daily maid service. There is Parking on site. The town centre is 5-7 minutes walk. In walking distance to the cozy cafe "Love and Hope", where you will be served Breakfast, lunch and dinner delicious home cooking at affordable prices

We lived in a double room with one bed, a bathroom, everything worked, a comfortable bed, TV, kettle and tea set, hairdryer, towels, slippers, fridge. The room was corner, but the radiators heat well and at minus 20 outside, the room was fine. The interior is all new, corresponds to the photo. Breakfasts are from 8.30 to 11.00, the main thing for me is fresh coffee. The choice of food is not huge, but you can find something, we took porridge and pancakes, sausages, cheese and ham, we had enough. The location is in a quiet place, I don't know if the walls in the hotel itself are thin, no one seemed to make any noise.
