Hotel Sokroma Hyperborea is a pleasant and comfortable option for travelers visiting Kirovsk, especially considering the city's smaller size. The room was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. The Pik Hotel is generally good—it's conveniently located for exploring Kirovsk, has clean rooms, and the staff is friendly. However, the room was slightly smaller than in the photo. The breakfast is decent, but you'll need to go to the hotel next door. It's suitable for those coming to ski in the Khibiny Mountains or for short business trips, as long as premium service isn't required.

When I went, the building was under renovation and the formaldehyde levels were very high. There was no front desk; I had to go to another hotel about 500 meters away to check in, which was very inconvenient. Also, there were no elevators, only stairs.
