+ Hotel Sokroma Hyperborea is a pleasant and comfortable option for travelers visiting Kirovsk, especially considering the city's smaller size. The room was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. A particularly convenient feature was the induction hob and cookware, which allowed us to prepare meals whenever we wanted - a nice perk not always available in hotels. The on-site restaurant was a good addition, offering both dine-in and room service options. We had breakfast there for 900 RUB per person, which was satisfying with a decent selection of dishes. Location-wise, the hotel is very practical, situated close to the funicular that takes you up to Big Wood Ski Resort - ideal for those planning to hit the slopes. A charming detail was the welcome drink upon arrival: Ivan Chai (a local herbal tea) served with regional berries, which added a thoughtful, authentic touch to our stay.
