Where to stay in Kirovsk

Cozy hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Rooms and bathrooms are small, but in principle it's okay. A small kitchenette is very convenient (but there is no stove, this should be taken into account). It's about 15 minutes' walk to the ski lift.

Hotel Sokroma Hyperborea is a pleasant and comfortable option for travelers visiting Kirovsk, especially considering the city's smaller size. The room was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. A particularly convenient feature was the induction hob and cookware, which allowed us to prepare meals whenever we wanted - a nice perk not always available in hotels...

The Pik Hotel is generally good—it's conveniently located for exploring Kirovsk, has clean rooms, and the staff is friendly. However, the room was slightly smaller than in the photo. The breakfast is decent, but you'll need to go to the hotel next door. It's suitable for those coming to ski in the Khibiny Mountains or for short business trips, as long as premium service isn't required.

When I went, the building was under renovation and the formaldehyde levels were very high. There was no front desk; I had to go to another hotel about 500 meters away to check in, which was very inconvenient. Also, there were no elevators, only stairs.

I liked everything. Good place and excellent location. Helpful staff.

Keep in mind that you need a vaccination certificate or prc test, otherwise they will not accept.

I like everything, clean and warm. Finally, shave out the old dishes and bought new ones, but, unfortunately, with so many tenants and the inability to eat in the city cafes in the evening, there is not enough dishes for everyone who wants to cook. Plus, some guests cook something and take the pots with them. Therefore, the owners of the Sport should buy a couple more sets of dishes, boards, knives...

We received a polite and hospitable welcome with a large well-bred dog. Hot water in the tap did not pour out soon, but this is not surprising in the off-season. The room is clean. I would like to highlight breakfast separately! Tasty, crazy and very satisfying!))

Excellent, considering the price-quality criterion. A comfortable hotel, the repair rooms are very good, without repair, too, quite imagined, only the bathroom with the repair is much better. Double rooms for 1 bathroom, there is a separate kitchen on the 4th floor with microwave, kettle and stove. The rooms have a built-in natural refrigerator under the window sill, where you can store food in winter, there is a TV. Breakfast in the dining room from 8 to 11. The hotel is clean, cosmetic repairs, electric heating in the rooms, wooden windows are old, but generally warm.

Good hotel. Not far from the slope. Decent breakfasts. Scanty, but you won't stay hungry. The coffee is disgusting! Restaurant with delicious food. There is no air freshener in the toilet. I had a suite. Not a bad room, usual, as in all ski resorts. To have hot water, it must be skipped for a while.

Lovely hotel! Clean, tidy and well-appointed rooms. Excellent and responsive service (dry rations upon check-out before breakfast - I have never seen this - very touched). Delicious breakfasts: there is a lot to choose from. And about the restaurant "Iris" is a separate conversation, I will remember for a long time (in a good way). In short, for a business trip - gorgeous. As well as for family vacations...

Friendly staff. Very good breakfast buffet. A bit contrasting furniture bead. The bathroom has underfloor heating. Heating can be regulated. There is a kettle in the room + bonus tea bags and sugar. For an affordable price in Kirovsk, a good option.

The numbers do not correspond to the photos, I recommend to specify in which number you will be accommodated. The rooms are well cleaned, no complaints have been made. The staff is excellent, you will be met by very nice ladies. Most importantly, they always try to solve any problem. Good tasty breakfast: cheesecakes, cereal, pancakes, scrambled eggs ...

Nice hostel. But there are problems with hot water, especially in the evening - instead of hot water comes cold water. Toilet paper and liquid soap are sometimes not available in toilets.

The hostel is quite decent, but for a youth group. Beds are two-tier Ikea, for an adult the second floor is too sloppy. All furniture is new, everything is clean in the room. Room for 4 is spacious. They did not have time to clean the bathrooms, there was no paper in the morning. There is a drying room +. It is very noisy, which is very annoying. the TV yells at the entire hostel, a noisy drunken company...

While traveling through the Khibiny Mountains, we stopped at the Emergency Situations Ministry station and stayed at the Kuelporr Hotel. The station has signs with distances to nearby settlements - they say they help cure "topographical ignorance". Hotel Kuelporr has become an excellent place to relax after a busy day. This is an absolutely amazing place. With the complete absence of competitors (except for tents, of course), the guys take everything very seriously. I can say that the food here is better than in Azimuth in Murmansk.

There is beauty all around, the owners of the base, Dmitry and his wife, are wonderful people, very clean, there is hot water with good pressure, excellent food upon request. If you cook yourself, they let you into the kitchen, and the cook Vyacheslav very kindly helps. There are also wonderful dogs living at the base. If they like you, they will go to the radial with you :)

If a roof over your head is the main criterion for convenience, and the view around is what you came here for, then everything is ok. You won't be disappointed. The hotel is better, but more expensive, the rescuers are cheaper, but easier))

Great hotel. The location is convenient, the view from the windows is gorgeous, cleanliness, friendly staff. We were satisfied with the quality of the work of the staff and the provision of rooms. We will come again and again.

Cozy small hotel. From the rooms on the second floor there is an excellent view of the mountains, Lake Bolshoy Vudyavr and sunrises. There is a barbershop on the back of the building.

I liked it! Very clean, modern and worth it! Not up with some wifi and no Breakfast, but there is a mini-kitchen - you can cook!)

This is a nice hotel well situated in Kirovsk. Well, if any place is in the downtown section, it is well situated. The room was fine and had a minibar so I got get some water. The buffet was fine as well.

I've been to Kirovsk many times both for vacation and business and stayed at 4 different hotels. Khibiny (2004, 2008, 2011), Ekos (2005), Severnaya (2006) and Gornitsa (2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). Gornitsa became my favorite after the first visit in 2007. We contacted them via their English contact form on the website and got a fast reply confirming our booking. The hotel is not in the very center...

Gornitsa is a quiet and cosy hotel, not a luxury one, more home-like. Very nice staff, they've been helpful and service-minded. The café is totally ok. Easy and cheap to get a taxi to the slopes, they helped me with that in the reception. Walking distance from the centre and the bowling, the food store is just around the corner. Generally Kirovsk is a good place for downhill skiing and free ride.

Nice duplex room with kitchenette, all necessary utensils, hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator. Separate room for equipment, shoes drying and washing machine. In the same building there is a large sauna with a swimming pool for 1800 per hour. The main disadvantage is a very bad road to the hotel, it is almost not cleaned, not every taxi agrees to go. We rented a room with children. It was very convenient for us that it is two-story: 1. With a large number of seats, there is a full-fledged hall with a sofa. 2. The children were free to play and run around. It was warm (at -27 outside the window). The room is equipped with everything you need. The wife appreciated the powerful hair dryer.
