+ The location of the Hotel is perfect. Very close to the city centre and shopping malls and very close so many places you can enjoy, too. Breakfast is very rich. Staff is very hardworking, helpful and polite. Hotel room is cleaned daily. Workers are good at their work. Hotel reception is very helpful.
- WiFi connection is nearly out of connect. Pillows are stinky.

A solid beautiful imperial province city, just like many other cities built in Russian Empire.

Unfortunately, the room did not turn out very clean. We even had to request another set of bed sheets as the ones on our beds had a strong odour of an old closet.
There were a couple of long dark hairs on the bathroom floor.
Only a couple of shampoo and soap packets and no hair conditioner or shower gel at all - and that all was for a three night stay for two.
To crown it all, the refrigerator was not working in the unit, which made our stay very uncomfortable.
Breakfast was decent, an all-you-can-eat type with local food.
The only advantage of staying at Tatarstan was its location.

Old hotel, dirty room, towels should be all thrown away, they are expired! Toilet is broken, and the worst part is the heat, the room has no air conditioning and temperature inside it is unbearable!!! Finally mosquitos and flies are everywhere.
In simple words, don't let the name of the Hotel or online photos deceive you, it shouldn't be named after the Republic! It's the worst Hotel room I have ever experienced, thank god I only had to spend one night, which was a nightmare.

Disgusting attitude to guests!,especially at the reception!,the plumbing is not working! The red pipe fire suppression on all visible areas, including the room!(why not white unknown),no night curtains!it is a pity that the hotel is named after the name of the region,which it does not match!

Generally okay, but nothing more. It makes sense to pay that kind of money because of the location. The rest - not really.

Set right in the middle of Kazan city, next to the central bus station and metro. Beautiful rooms and great food. Popular with big groups and kids.
