Hotel Galleria in Subotitsa

My visit to Hotel Galleria Wellness Center ended with my visit to emergency room. 38.6 fever as a result of CHLORINE POISONING from the Jacuzzi. Unfortunately the next morning i was flying to US and i did not get a chance do anything about this. Below is the full story.

I live in Subotica but i work on cruise ships so i could only go there about twice a year during my vacation. I used to love going there as the wellness center is absolutely beautiful until... I went there with my mom, it was our last day to spend together before i leave for another 7 months. As we changed our clothes we went straight to Jacuzzi. I felt the burning eye sensation immediately but we were completely ignorant of what can chlorine do to you especially in hot water. As few minutes passed i informed the wellness receptionist that something is not right and she advised us to stay in the relaxing room until she calls someone to "fix" it. 30 minutes later as i started feeling a bit nauseous the receptionist came to inform us they won't be able to "fix" it soon. We changed our clothes and we went to get our refund as we did not use any of their facilities besides the "relaxing room" and then there is the few minutes of unpleasant Jacuzzi experience. BUT she then said she CANNOT refund us everything as we still used their bathrobes, slippers & towels and we don't even come that often, she literally COUNTED THE TIMES she had us registered of coming! Not that it matters but that count was completely wrong! After some arguing and me personally having to call the manager on her sell phone as her number was on the wellness business card she said she was out of town and that she will get in touch with me later, we were refunded the money. By the time we reached home my mom got a bad headache and i started shivering. Wellness manager called me and advised me to go to emergency room. She sent a message on my phone one more time to ask how i was and no one every contacted me again.
So to summer it up i spent the rest of the day in the emergency room getting infusion, my last day home was destroyed and Hotel Galleria Wellness Center could not care less about their clients, ESPECIALLY if you are not a REGULAR!
