Villa Antonia in La Digue

Such a sweet villa. It has everything you need, spacious and clean rooms, the Seychelles feeling in the design, enormous bed with really comfortable matrices and pillows. Fans and ACs to cover both tastes. The breakfast is made on the spot, completely home-cooked and really abundante and tasty. Don’t forget to try the dinner Babet cooks at least one of the evenings. Best fish ever!

A nice hotel not far from the ferry. +large rooms with a kitchen. +Pool on the property +Water to drink is included +Shower is excellent with 2 showers in one. +Bicycles to rent +WiFi is stable +offered pickup from the ferry on the first day for 200 rupies per family of 4. -The pool is a bit small -Breakfast can be bought, but it was not worth the price. We just had it once and fixed our own after that. -Bicycles are worn and not what you expect for that price. -Paid for a taxi back to the ferry. The same price as for pickup, but instead of two for our two families, we go one. So they took double payment, and we almost could not have all lougage.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the rooms were — complete with air conditioning — and a huge bathroom as well.
There’s also a lovely large terrace where we enjoyed our morning coffee, fresh fruit, toasts and eggs.

We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a really lovely time at the guesthouse. The Owners were super kind and helpful. We were surprised by how big the rooms were – and the bathroom was huge too!

The owner is a great cook! We had dinner there three times and got to try delicious local-style octopus – it was amazing.

We truly hope to come back one day.

I can’t help myself in writing how amazing this place and the hosts are. We stayed for 5 nights at Villa Antonia and I can honestly say these were the most wonderful nights in Seychelles. The room we got was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, served with fresh juice from heaven. The hosts are the most friendly and professional people. They helped us organise bikes and also with carrying our luggage to the ferry at the end of our stay because it was raining. Thank you for this perfect experience!

La Digue is the most beautiful island among the Seychelles islands. The hosts (Babett and Andrea) are the kindest hosts whom I ever met. When we arrived on the first day, they welcomed us with fresh juice. They were very helpful. They helped us to rent bicycles. Babett cleaned and made our bed every day. The breakfast was super tasty. It contained delicious fruits (banana, mango, avocado, papaya, orange, coconut) that were picked in their garden. They also serve 2 eggs the way you like (sunny-side up, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, omelette with cheese). Finally we got some toast, jam, fresh juice, and we could choose between coffee and local vanilla tea. They were kind enough to offer us a fresh coconut to drink. We loved to rest in their beautiful garden. The apartment was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the climate control was very quiet. The bathroom was spacious and clean.

truly amazing and wonderful. Beautiful apartment surrounded by greenery full of comfort and beauty. The only flaw is that the windows are inconvenient to open and close continuously to go out and/or to keep mosquitoes etc. out. Nice place, excellent with children. Swimming pool always useful.

I and my wife wanted to spend our first anniversary in La Digue and decided to book La Digue Holiday Villa. It might seem a little pricey at first but it was totally worth it. As soon as we checked in, Kit (the owner/ owner's son) helped us with the highlights on the island. He even gave his number to reach out to him in case we needed anything. This property is well planned with beautiful landscaping. We were really happy with the details within the property, for instance, water cooler, beach towels, coffee maker, locker etc. What we found most outstanding is the presence of 2 showers in the bathroom (you might find this funny but you'll find it useful after a day of scorching heat). The villa is huge, it has separate settings for Coffee, Dining, and relaxing. Almost everything is made of wood and looks beautiful. You can rent bicycles from the reception, and they make sure that you're comfortable riding it as it's the only way to travel on the island (so you might want some cushion under your Coco de Mer). The check out time in Villa is strictly 10:30 AM. We wish that we could check out a little late as our ferry was at 2:15 PM but Kit was kind enough to take care of our luggage at the reception. The island itself isn't big so everything is accessible. Overall it was a great stay.
