Been there for two separate stints, the first 3 nights of my stay and the very last night. The rooms are vary spacious and offer a kitchen too, alongside the bedroom and the bathroom (my last one also had a living room). The staff is friendly and helpful and there are some cute and friendly pets around (4 giant tortoises, a cute fluffy cat and a chubby doggo). Just be aware: you will need a car or a bus card to move around, it is in the middle of nowhere, very few places to eat around the facility (the only one within walking distance is the over expensive "lobster bay").

We had an amazing stay at this place. Our apartment was huge and immaculate. The host was very helpful. They have pet tortoises, dogs and cats, my daughter had a gala time having great time with the pets. The lodge is in a good location near to the airport and various beaches.

Lovely partment, really nice pool, good location, very nice, helpful people. Would definitely stay again. The grounds are nice, fruit bats flying everywhere. We hired a car and used it quite abit, as there are no footpaths on the road. Bus stop staright outside. Shop next door.

I arrived late in the evening and I was greeted by a staff member who showed me my apartment. I was expecting a small room but was pleasantly surprised to find myself being given a large 2 bedroom apartment that came with a modern shower room and a kitchen plus lounge room! There was air con inside and fans in the bedrooms and lounge room area. Rooms come with clean towels and you get a bottle of mineral water in the fridge, with refills available at the reception area. The kitchen had a cooker/stove/oven, fridge freezer, microwave and cutlery and crockery, so you can cook and eat easily, or go out for meals and supplies as there are plenty shops within walking distance! You also get given towels and toiletries in the shower room. I had a great view from all rooms inside the apartment and I even had a private terrace area! There is a pool available for use anytime, plus they have Aldabra tortoises and you can feed them and take pics to your hearts content! There is also a free snooker table and table football/foosball to play in the reception area! The staff are super friendly, helpful and attentive. The owner was also around on my final day there and he was knowledgeable and had great stories to share. My taxi failed to turn up on a day where I had to be at Eden Island within an hour. I was shown by staff how to download the bus app and top up a small amount on the app for use on the buses. Each journey is 10 rupees which is roughly 50p or less than a dollar. I went to Eden Island then used buses again to go north and south of the island to explore fully! Loved the private setting of this accommodation, with electric gates to keep you safe at night. Perfectly quiet, with good bus links and you can also park your car inside too. Thank you again!

Very good service and very friendly staff. The facilities aren't brand new, but they are clean and functional. The complex is located across the street from the water, but it's not a beach. You'll essentially need a rental car or use the public buses. The staff will be happy to help you arrange a rental car.

Tripadvisor please note there is no 'fishing' in Castaway Lodge self catering apartments. Located not too far from the airport on the coastal road. Supermarket next door & a food takeaway 2 minute walk. Nearest restaurant is Lobster Bay. Owners are very helpful. My apartment was spacious and clean throughout. Bed linens were clean and afforded me a comfortable sleep. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. The small pool was well maintained. They booked my airport transfers which ensured I paid the regular price. Taxis in Seychelles are expensive. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

We landed in Seychelles and needed a room for 1 night before and after our flight. Luckily we found CastAway that answered all our needs. Very big apartments, clean and well equipped. The prices are great but the best is the stuff. Very kind and helpful. Recommended.

It is excellent lokacion for island exploring. Quiet tropical garden surrounding edged by mountains to enjoy from the porch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fast and easy check in and check out.

Lacked air conditioning In the main living area of our 2 bedroom area. Host was excellent and very accommodating with excellent communication. Pool is a lot smaller than the images on their website.
