Grand Koper in Koper

Near to seaside and marina,romantic narrow streets,small cozy shops,cafe. Hotel us very comfortable,clean,polite employees,restaurant with perfect menu and wine!!

The property is near to port and front of sea. The rooms are big with all the amenities. Staff is fully supportive. I recommend this hotel if you’re near to koper

What can I say. MUCH. From start to finish it was an absolute joy to be there. The staff all friendly and impeccably dressed. The room was amazing with a great sea view to include the marina. Nothing was an issue. Any requests dealt with immediately. It was the breakfast of royalty. The main restaurant was beyond my imagination and the food was spectacular. The price in the restaurant was unbelievable for what we ordered including wine and beers. The restaurant manager was probably in the top three of all Maitre's I have had the pleasure of dealing with anywhere in the world and I have travelled a lot. Nothing was a problem. I was blown away by the service even by the night porter (Borut) who without a skipped step dealt with us with quiet professionalism to all needs after the bar had closed. If there was a blueprint for hotels worldwide we then the Grand Hotel owns it. nothing was fake or forced it was all natural and I will be back for longer next year.

- Good breakfast even for a 4 stars accomodation
- Hotel interior design
Cons:
- Pricey
- The gym was not working
- Someone start drilling at about 8:30 in the morning - unacceptable for the hotel that is being promoted harshly and considering the price tag
- Some staff (especially in the canteen) lack customer service skills - too much familiarity with customers and inappropriate jokes

Great hotel service staff and great location for food.

The front desk was welcoming. The restaurant on the first floor attached to the hotel is delicious and reasonably priced. Please note that the door to the hotel lobby looks more like a shop. Don't hesitate, there is a reception right after you enter. The hotel faces a great sea view. The breakfast was very good. The taxi from the bus station to the hotel is 10 Euros and the reverse is 7 Euros. Overall a very nice hotel for a holiday, the staff are friendly and welcoming. You will find a kettle in the hotel.

Good environment, beautiful scenery, but there are many room areas and it is easy to get lost.

There is a nice view when you exit the hotel.

I really liked both the rooms and the mesmerizing views from the windows of the rooms and the balcony (which serves as a fire exit and can be accessed from the common corridor), as well as the friendly and hardworking staff. Let me remind you that the hotel is three-star, but rested in it for all five stars. The charming town of KOPER deserves special words. It is a beautiful (both day and night) and clean city! I want to wander over it! You want to live in it !!! I fell in love with this town !!!
