Amazing location, fantastic hotel, great service and delicious food. We had an amazing time there. We will be back. The sea and the hotel beach is superb. Everything is given to have a relaxing family vacation

My family is currently staying at this hotel, and I was planning to join them for a week. Unfortunately, after an incident involving a parking staff member named Andrej, I decided not to come.

My family felt deeply humiliated by his behavior, and instead of enjoying a comfortable stay, they now feel uncomfortable and unsafe there. For a hotel of this level, such treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable.

I strongly recommend thinking twice before choosing this hotel. There are many other, more worthy hotels in Portorož that truly value their guests.

The hotel is in an amazing location, but it is a bit dated. The A/C cannot be set below 23 degrees, which gets quite uncomfortable during the summe

Hotel is placed next to the sea, great view. Helpful service at the reception, in the dining room or at the gym.
But the rooms aren't that clean, windows, curtains and chairs not sure when were they washed last time. The staircase needs painting as it looks bad, front windows should be washed, there is a lot of dirt. Same applies to windows in the dining area.
If they charge rather high fares, that should renovate the place a bit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Grand Hotel Bernardin! The location right on the ocean was incredible — waking up to the beautiful sea views from our room was such a highlight. Our ocean view room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean.

The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the buffet was fantastic with a great selection each day. Everything about our stay made it relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely come back again

The room rate is fairly expensive at over ISD400 per night while there is not even water given in the room. The most disappointing thing is the air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted. Overall, it is not worth the money

I stayed in so many hotels in Slovenia, but this is the only hotel that requires a deposit. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the room is quite big

The hotel is highly recommended. Breakfast is very rich, extensive and delicious. Service in the hotel is excellent. The swimming pool in the neighboring hotel is recommended, especially with children.
