Nice experience for a night . We stopped to this beautiful hotel with our children . The room was very clean and nice . The views are breathtaking!
The breakfast was delicious and there was a nice lady asking us if we wanted anything different from the buffet.
We will definitely go back to this hotel . The service was amazing even if we arrived like really late at night .

Cozy hotel, near Logar Valley. Room was very clean, big and confortable bed and in the morning we had one of the best breakfasts which we served in a hotel. 100% percent enjoyed and hope to come back one day!

We stayed at Hotel Planinka as a family with two kids. Unfortunately, our experience was mixed. Our room was on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so we had to carry four bags and the kids up the stairs ourselves, which was quite inconvenient.

There’s no air conditioning, and no window nets, which made it uncomfortable during warm weather and let insects in. On Sunday morning, we were woken up very early (7 a.m.) by loud church bells nearby – something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper.

The hotel has an old-style charm with lots of carpeted areas – not modern, but everything was clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special – more like a 3-star level.

Overall, it’s a decent stay if you’re prepared for some discomforts, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

The hotel is lovely, family owned and the service is good. The rooms are cosy and clean, but the building doesn’t have an elevator or individually set air condition.
We also tried the restaurant but the food was classical local dishes with a nicer presentation and far from what we expected. Very basic ingredients with no “twist”, in a 6 course meal the ingredients are repeated.

We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the first of our 2 night stay. However the meal we had on the second night was superb and we opted for the wine selections for each course offered by the hotel which also worked really well. Breakfast too was excellent with great selection and some beautiful fresh fruit. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again

Comfortable hotel with wonderful and helpful staff, however it is the food and wine experience that will make us remember hotel Planinka!
There’s an impressive cellar of Slovenian wines (some others too) and our host knew exactly which wines to pair with our choice of dishes. 10 out of 10!
Breakfast is nice too.

Family group, we needed cancel or modify our booking due to change of business travel plans, hotel administration notified us we would lose full booking amount for more than 4 days accommodation.This approach from management with international travellers is just money grabbing, disgraceful. Absolutely dont recommend hotel!

A true sample of an excellent hospitality. Great wines, delicious food and beautiful hotel, all together with an amazing staff and wonderful service set Planinka on the top of our preferences in Slovenia. Really pleasant and clean rooms respecting all high standards, very gourmand menu but once again, the thing that
makes this such a good place to stay are the hosts - incredibly helpful and generous
with their time and warmness.
