UH Suite The Haendae in Busan

Everyone, please avoid this place at all costs!!! This isn't even a hotel; it's more like a large guesthouse. The annex (which is just a few rooms on the 4th floor of an apartment building) has no front desk, and the so-called main building's front desk isn't 24-hour. I found a mysterious red stain on a towel, so hygiene is clearly not a priority! The walls between rooms are paper-thin; I could hear locals drinking, being noisy, and even banging on the wall until the early hours of the morning! Since there's no 24-hour front desk, there was no staff to address the issue. Even more bizarre, each room has a ceiling-mounted air conditioner with only one remote control. You'd hear a beep when pressing the remote, but it wouldn't actually control anything! The moment you insert the key card, the AC's cold air would just blast continuously!!! The absolute weirdest part is that after discovering all these issues on the first night, I reported them to the owner, who acknowledged them. Through Trip.com customer service, I communicated my decision not to stay the second night and requested a refund for it (it was cold and rainy in Busan that day, so I couldn't bear the uncontrollable AC). And guess what the owner said? Trip.com reported that the owner initially refused outright. Then, when their 'leader' came in at 10 AM, they agreed to refund only 30%! Trip.com's customer service found the owner unreasonable and spent another hour negotiating, finally getting them to agree to refund 70% for the second day!!! The Trip.com agent called me, apologizing profusely, saying they'd never encountered such an unreasonable owner! I told them even with that, I wouldn't stay. I couldn't let my kids and I sleep in a room with an unregulatable cold AC! Plus, there's a KTV or bar upstairs next to this place, which is incredibly noisy! Please, everyone, do NOT choose such an unscrupulous business!
