Hacienda San Jorge in Brena Baja

A terrific experience. The staff were lovely and the price incredibly reasonable given that the room had a small kitchenette, living room and bedroom. The gardens of the hotel were spectacular and beautifully kept. Really recommended if you stay on the island.

Nice apartment with balcony and simple cooking facilities. Great food with lots of choice at the buffet. Loved the seawater pool, nice size for swimming in and plenty of room. Lots of seating around it and beautiful plants snd trees. Loads of seating around the lobby and bar area. Staff very attentive and friendly. Very handy for the airport and 40 min walk in to La Cruz ( well worth a visit and buses available if you don’t want to walk ). Room clean and tidy.

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and large pool. Apartments are large, comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast with many options. Very helpful staff. We would stay here again.

The rooms are arranged in blocks around the grounds. They are spacious with a kitchenette, sitting area and balcony as well as bedroom and ensuite bathrooms. The gardens are green and lush with beautiful trees, shrubs and water features. The pool area is excellent with plenty of loungers and towels for hotel guests. The dining room has inside and outside eating areas, and the food was delicious with plenty of choice for all. Loads of fresh fruit too. If you struggle with stairs there are rooms on the ground floor of each accommodation block, and one block has a lift.

Excellent apart hotel few kilometres from capital Fabulous botanical gardens and well equipped bedrooms with lounge kitchenette and balcony Good hotel shop and bar Scenic restaurant but fish on buffet rather dry Large pool but cold water sea actually warmer! Immediate area outside hotel rather uninteresting but reasonable bus service into Santa Cruz which well worth a visit (try and avoid cruise ship visiting)

Our second holiday at the hotel, after our great experience last year. Our apartment was spacious, beautifully furnished and the bathroom luxurious Hotel is set is spacious grounds, planted like a Botanic Garden Food fine too: wide choice and long serving hours for both breakfast and dinner. Pool massive and elegantly set in the gardens. Staff outstanding!ttt

Our third stay at this lovely accommodation. The gardens are just one of the highlights to be enjoyed. We had a superior apartment which was well furnished and had an excellent shower. We had breakfast which had an excellent selection of fruit and cereals, as well as the usual hot options (buffet style). We didn’t opt for an evening meal preferring to sample the local restaurants. The resort is quite small but there are about ten restaurants to choose from. The capital, Santa Cruz, is about 4 km away and there is a bus every half hour which costs one euro fifty cents.

This is a beautiful hotel. The grounds and gardens are outstanding with pools and beautiful trooical plants. The architecture and design of the buildings and rooms is lovely set amongst the gardens and around a stunning pool .Various rooms and upgrades are available but all the rooms are similar size , very spacious , apartment layout with spacious lounge area , balcony , bedroom and good sized bathroom. The only difference is that the views vary . We would like a pool or sea view next time but what we have is lovely overlooking the garden. They kindly gave us a bottle of cava for our wedding anniversary. The staff are what makes this hotel as they are so very kind and helpful. Nice poolside bar and restaurant with views where you take breakfast. They are improving the area outside the hotel where there are several restaurants all on your doorstep. Several small sandy beaches right outside the hotel with calm waters and a nice beach bar. Plenty of sun loungers around the stunning pool. We would definitely like to stay here again . We stayed 5 days in Santa Cruz and 2 nights here at the Hacienda and found it a nice contrast. Good bus service linking the two areas within 15 minutes bus ride. Bus stop at the top of the road .
