Room to be renovated in an old mining area

This hotel was a great option for our family, kids had their own room and the balcony was awesome! Location is superb, we could walk to town and to the beach. Parking option under the hotel was great too. We also loved how close it was to Roses.

This is a very well-located hotel on the beach in Empuriabrava. It has a pool and a very good buffet. I highly recommend it. It has a family-friendly atmosphere and is very good value for money.

Hotel looks dated, BUT inside is everything you need, there’s a small kitchenette with utensils, hob & fridge. Very spacious & separated room with nice views. Lovely Aircon!! Adequate breakfast options & very fresh! Outstanding staff throughout the hotel including the cleaners. Highly recommend Xon Platja in Empuria! Thanks to all the Team, will definitely come back here when we are next visiting family...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in The Port Salins hotel! A warm welcome at reception, a lovely room with a spacious balcony overlooking the canal, and in a very central location. Although we never used it, the pool looked so inviting. Our evening sitting on the balcony was relaxing and most enjoyable - a highlight of our stay!! The bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was a godsend...

One of the best Restaurants in the area, nice seating with a views, perfect cousine, away of tourists, awesome desserts. Chief menu is perfect as well as the main list. Booking in advance recommended.

Public areas of hotel were nice - modern decor and comfortable. Pool area and rooftop bar very attractively furnished. Rooms were clean but dated - chips and scuffs on furnishings, chipped toilet seat, no amenities in room apart from shampoo and shower gel - and 2 free cartons of water . Corridors were basic, did not have the feel of a 4 star hotel.

Lobby is renovating, rooms are old and our is have leaking before and mold

What a wonderful stay such helpful reception staff Salvador who goes above and beyond and so welcoming and helpful Housekeeping is great and the harbour is lovely and great views and supermarket and eateries local as well as the lovely beach

Great Location & Views, But Pools Need Attention We loved the marina views from the balcony—such a peaceful spot with boats passing by. The apartment is in a prime location, just a short walk to the beach and main street full of restaurants and bars. Staff were responsive, replacing a broken kettle quickly and providing a second key when asked. Fresh towels and sheets were provided after a week....

We have stayed here several times and the apartments have always been well equipped and very clean. The reception team are very helpful.

Caution when booking: property location is not very convenient (distance to beach and city centre), the 1 bedroom apartment unit on ******* is misrepresented and does NOT have a balcony whereas the pictures associated to this lodging unit depict many instances of a spacious balcony. You have to pay a 10EUR/night fee for the balcony and there are few units with balcony available. The aircon & dishwasher...

Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. Hotel is very pretty.

Rooms are spacious but a bit dated, not he most comfortable mattresses. Swimming pool and outside area are very nice. Restaurant has very limited options, not really made for a dine-in. Breakfast selection is decent.

Allthough the rooms are a bit dated, everything is really well taken care of and you will find everything you need here. Friendly staff, a large pool, tables both inside & outside for breakfast or dining. Even the night guard was very hospitable. Breakfast was extensive, there was a lot of choice! The aircondition at the rooms work miracles - just don't forget to turn it on or the spanish summer heat...

Perfect if you got pets, 10min by car to beach or center, 5min to grocery stores. The hotel is simple, not fancy, but good.

Very nice place (for Empuriabrava). Pictures look amazing, place looks good too. Nice clean pool, clean rooms, breakfast is ok, Wifi is a bit slow, parking is huge, so there is always a free parking space. If you are in Empuria for Skydiving or Tunnel flying, this place is walking distance!

Very dated decor. Nice size rooms, but updates needed to linens, paint and decor. It's like 1980s old Las Vegas.

Not new anymore but cost effective. Paper walls but enough signs to remind people to be quiet. Stayed for nights and there was no issues or disturbances. Looking for just a place to sleep this is bang for buck.

Goʻd placecto stay We stayed at the Ampura inn for 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was quite large and had a fridge. The only thing missing was a plug for the wash basin but this is quite common in Spain and France. The buffet breakfast was excellent with something for everybody. The pool is also to be recommended

The Road is very crowdy but inside and the pool area invites you to stay longer

Good value for the price. Nice with many amenities: gym, pool, spa, sauna, restaurant, bar, elevator. This hotel dates back many years but still offers interesting features as mentionned. Room is clean and the personnel is very quick to answer any question or request you may have. Good breakfast offer ($).

Stayed here a few days while skydiving. Hotel staff is great and very friendly. However the rooms need some updating. Not a lot of ventilation in the bathroom and rooms are humid. Beds are outdated and room has tons of mosquitoes. Walls are thin, you can hear everyone talking all the way down the hall. Definitely would find a different place in the future.

Great location for the beach. Room was pretty run down but had a view of the canal. Pool was great. AC only came on at certain times.

Nice hotel with swimming pool but which suffers from a glaring lack of maintenance and serious logistical problems (lack of towels in the rooms, hair dryer impossible to plug in because the support wire is too short, fridge missing, etc.). If you like loud bar music at night, ask for a room on the 1st floor.

Totally amazing! Family run hotel immaculate, food Michelin star standard with amazing prices highly recommend! Staff super friendly and helpful! Rate this definitely 5* plus! We will be back!👍

Relatively cheap. From the adventures - clean, plenty of parking options right in front, ac, balcony, and even though there is music outside you don’t here anything in the room.

Price not that bad comparing with others in the area. building is old and needs remodeling. What we liked best was the location as its easy to park

The hotel is nice and simple, very nice and helpful stuff , clean. It's the best choice for how's going to skydive you don't need a car everything is near .

We stayed just for one night this September in motorhome. Plots were not as pretty as on some of sites we had visited but had electric and water. We were near to the toilet blocks that although they were clean, they had a bad odour and were very dated. Friendly reception, great bar. Lovely situation with great views. I arrived today. Very large site, not too busy, but it is October. Close to the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets are very clean. Dog friendly, even have a dog shower. I would probably come here again but not in the high season.

I absolutely loved this campsite. We stayed there for 4 nights over Sant Joan to get the dogs out of the city (Barcelona) and it turned out to be a far more relaxing holiday than even i'd hoped for. The site is compact and well organised with a great distribution of facilities. The onsite takeaway restaurant serves delicious food for very reasonable prices - I can strongly recommend the pizzas, especially...

We had a wonderful stay here for the holidays. It feels like home every year. Toilets are clean (untill the French come), showers are nice, pool is large with a lot of shade under the trees.
