Great Location & Views, But Pools Need Attention

We loved the marina views from the balcony—such a peaceful spot with boats passing by. The apartment is in a prime location, just a short walk to the beach and main street full of restaurants and bars. Staff were responsive, replacing a broken kettle quickly and providing a second key when asked. Fresh towels and sheets were provided after a week.
However, the property needs better maintenance. The bathroom tap was loose, some plug sockets were uncovered, and the balcony door didn’t lock. The pools were a major letdown—bird droppings around the upstairs pool and thick green grime in the downstairs one, which stained swimwear. Extra charges for a balcony (£65) and parking (£12/day) added up. Also, boat residents using the facilities made it feel less exclusive.
With some improvements, this could be a fantastic stay.

We have stayed here several times and the apartments have always been well equipped and very clean. The reception team are very helpful.

beautiful location, well-equipped accommodation with a beautiful view of the canals. rooftop swimming pool to be revisited, rusty picnic bench to be renovated, not many parking spaces.

Caution when booking: property location is not very convenient (distance to beach and city centre), the 1 bedroom apartment unit on ******* is misrepresented and does NOT have a balcony whereas the pictures associated to this lodging unit depict many instances of a spacious balcony. You have to pay a 10EUR/night fee for the balcony and there are few units with balcony available. The aircon & dishwasher in our lodging unit were out of order and not fixed during a 2 week stay, the amenities and property are generally in poor condition, wear and tare combined with low maintenance are taking their toll. The pools are relatively small and pretty shallow, no pool umbrellas available and no shade to seek refuge from the summer sun.
I would not recommend long stays with a family in this property due to location and lacking facilities/amenities.

Good welcome, free parking near the hotel if you don't want to pay for hotel parking, beach shopping and view of the port very popular but the quality of the rooms is average. Spacious but noisy, there is no exterior and interior sound insulation, the water supply system (shower toilet) makes a monster of noise so discretion at night is missed. The fridge also makes noise at night. It's a shame because there is great potential

Good welcome, very good value for money, too bad, dishwasher full and microwave not very clean, but as we ultimately didn't use it, it was very good, everything else was spot on.
