Really really cool experience. From the check-in to the check out. Reception, the bar and Jose, the restaurant ( with amazing and affordable regional wine prices ) the breakfast... The location as well really top and free parking around the hotel. I would always come back happily. I traveled with my family and the hotel was perfect in all the senses.

This hotel seems to cater mainly for escorted holidays with exact times( one hour) for meals for each group. Do think they had stretched themselves during my stay. Also the dining area for groups felt inferior to the larger dining room. Food was ok - lovely salads. Twin room for one was perfect, cleaned daily.

Very nice hotel close to the beach or 24/7 market. Great breakfast and dinner. The room is flawless.

Fantastic! We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Great food, wonderful staff - especially those who organized the activities and games at the hotel. Fun activities for both children and adults. Good location. We will definitely come back again.

A very good support from the Hotel staff. Even if there was a small misunderstand with the car. They have been very kind helpfull and supported with all efforts, even refounding some unexpected costs created by the inconvenience. A service of a 5 star hotel

This hotel is 200 metres from the beach but has fabulous grounds and 3 pools together with a snack bar by the pools. There is a very shallow pool for small children (2-6 years old) with a water slide and the water level is up to THEIR knees, so they can play there without floats and the parents can just seat around and watch them. We have been there several years and the kids just love it. For us it is great to be together with family and friends. Ample things to do for children and adults and a very safe place for everyone to be relaxed and enjoy a beautiful scenery. The location is great: between hills and directly at the Mediterranean Sea. The location is wonderful. The breakfast was great. Had a great time relaxing by the pool and at the beach next door. Also did some walking on the trail along the water and took in the views on the nearby hills. If I went back to this area I would stay again. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. we had a balcony with seaview , that was really good . there are many diner options surrounding the hotel. the small swimming pool is placed strangely , as in a shop window.... do not understand. the breakfast was not super , the coffee was old the bread hard.

We stayed here in July 2023 and it was super! Clean room, great breakfast, superfriendly staff and it was directly on the beach with parking, even when we have checked out. We will come back! Me and my family were here in 1970, see the picture. The bar was almost the same!

Very good value hotel for my stay. Not much more than forty euros a night including a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Location is good with plenty of free parking nearby. I'd stay again.

The staff are so friendly and obliging, it's a very good budget hotel. The skirting boards need a wipe and under the bed a sweep, but clean towels are available on demand and generally a good clean hotel as was our room. Really not far from the sea front.

We booked late in the day, and checked in around 6pm. I was surprised that it was November and the room rate was still expensive at over €242/night + breakfast. The room was a bit small, but the plus point was that I liked the sea view, and the mattress was quite comfortable.

Perfect location opposite a very swimable beach and in the heart of Roses close to really good restaurants. Also opposite very accessible and reasonable priced parking. Highly recommended. Will return.

This is a lovely hotel on the beach in Roses, Spain. We opted not to have water view and were thrilled with our shaded balcony and street view from the second floor. Breakfast buffet was very good!

Rooms are just ordinary. They have no designated parking, although parking is advertised. We drove around and around until we found a space on the street. I can't imagine if we didn't find one. Some clarity is in order.

Everything is great, but it's not right on the beach, so you have to travel a bit. It's very close, and I still recommend it. The area is very lively and full of restaurants.

It was a great experience. The view was ok, the window to the balcony was noise proof and the service was great. The only downside was breakfast, we requested it vegan but we received yogurt and butter.

Mixed feelings about the hotel. Great food - buffet excellent value for money and choice available. Rooms are small and stuffy, noise from the street made it difficult to sleep. Waiting staff are lovely but check in less so. Felt a bit like family summer camp rather than a hotel.

The hotel is directly at the beach, beautiful vieuw. They have a parking nearby and the boulevard is in walking distance. Breakfast is good, staff is friendly. The hotel is very noisy, you hear the street, you hear the other gasts and if somebody flushes the toilet it feels like its in your own bathroom. Just make sure to bring earplugs :)

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Carmen. The room was very clean and confortable. The location is perfect on a quiet street near the beaches and close to shops and restaurants.
