Stayed a week here in June via a Jet2 package holiday. Good position near the sea front and near a choice of shops and food places. Friendly staff who worked hard to make this a pleasant experience. Reasonable sun bed area and adequate pool. Limited food choices for meals and quality not the best. Higher cost than some similar hotels in the town. Our room was a reasonable size with a large TV, 3 beds...

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did visit one evening for the buffet. Amazing air-conditioned dining room and a huge selection of food... a lot of seafood dishes but plenty of other options if you don't like fish. Also a plentiful selection of deserts and cakes. Will definitely visit again when we come to estartit next time.

Fantastic stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of food options (we had half board). Drinks not included but reasonably priced (much more so than in UK). Nice swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. There was some evening entertainment but we watched the football (Euro 2024). Short walk to very long sandy beach with watersports options. from a scuba diver's perspective : perfect place, close to the beach, dive center (Rei Del Mar = to be recommended!) inside the hotel (with equipment storages and drying facilities), parking. good and varied food (buffet is huge). Fair prices at this period (we stayed in June)

Stayed for 2 weeks at the end of June so not quite peak season. Had a lovely sea view room from which we could hear (and see) the sea. Room was ample big enough for 2 of us. The air con in the room wasn't very efficient, more like a fan blowing. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was adequate. I was not a hotel guest but felt like I was. Lovely friendly people that work there. They are like a family. Drinks and food for a great price. And a lovely terrace where you can look on the streets and believe me it never boring. I post a picture of the view.

Hotel Medes II was a lovely hotel with amazing food and a great location and a very nice swimming pool. The staff were pleasant.

The Hotel Medes is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. I travel with my elderly parents who both have disabilities and dietary requirements and everything is catered for. We were on holiday in L'estartit this week and have been to a few different bars. By far, none has served us better than the Flamingo. Having visited the Flamingo many times between 1994 & 2000 we where curious as to how the hotel had changed / improved . Flamingo 24 The accommodation itself is well worth the money however breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was often long queues for the hot plate and the food sometimes required to be microwaved. All in all though, we enjoyed our stay and thought that we got value for money.

We got a bargain three night stay via Agoda at less than £200, not a bad price. Good breakfast, balcony, reasonable sized room and of course a small swimming pool. Reception staff spoke English and there was paid parking.

Recommended apartments, good location, very good pool area. To highlight as a negative, the sofa in the living room is VERY uncomfortable, this makes it uncomfortable to be relaxed watching television or chatting. Parking in the area a bit complicated, depending on hours.

A very nice hotel with an excellent location. Rooms are big with a lot of space. In general i don't think you can find better accommodation at that price. Compared to similar hotels in L'Estartit it is a bit outdated but its at 50-60% of the price. Breakfast is plentiful and the pool is also a nice bonus. Its not flash & fancy, & doesn't have a pool or A/C (fans provided, though) but is clean, gives a good breakfast(& evening meals, if you wish) & has a lovely bar with a pool table. We give this hotel a very good rating because it compensates for what it is lacking. Everything seemed a bit aged but in good condition, rooms were simple but clean, the pool area solid, food in the restaurant was very good, location okay and the breakfast was great, too. The placement of the hotel was right next to the most turistic area (passeig maritim) and so close to the beach. The service, food and facilities were awesome. With a must needed parking and a pool. And the breakfast was served in a 4th floor with a nice view of the coast. We were so pleased. But don't expect lucirious rooms.

The hotel is well located and at the same time quite. Room was very confortable, clean and modern (compare to others on Costa Brava) and the bed amazing! But what it made the stay great were the hosters. They took care of everything, always with their best smile. I haven't stayed at the hotel but i have eaten tapas in the restaurant a couple of times and I recommend it both for the quality of food and for the ambiance.
