I was not a hotel guest but felt like I was. Lovely friendly people that work there. They are like a family. Drinks and food for a great price. And a lovely terrace where you can look on the streets and believe me it never boring. I post a picture of the view.

As usual the hotel is everything we expected it to be. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, beautiful food. Perfect location, perfect views, perfect for parking. Beautiful pool, just the right amount of entertainment, a lovely pool bar, resturant and terrace and also a dining hall. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We've been coming to this family run hotel for years and has everything we could want. Already looking at booking again for next year. The only negative I ever have is there is no sound proofing in the rooms, so you can hear every scrap of a chair or table and noise from the street. I find ear plugs work well for this.

This the second time I've stayed. Don't be fooled by the cheaper room rate. You have to pay 15 euros for the car park and euros for the safe. Per night. No cable TV and no Englishtv channels. We were out of season but nothing was open so had no where to go. Just blank walls to look at. The breakfast buffet was OK but no condiments and some weird shape knives that spun round in your hands. Had to go to bed at 6pm to dodge the mosquito's. Apparently we had a suite last time which had Netflix. Not that we booked it. Hardly call it a,suite.No one c. ould fix the TV which didn't work anyway.it was weird and would definitely pay a bit more. Anyway will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to stay there again. Give a wide berth

Excellent and spotlessly clean family run hotel, a super week here. Staff very friendly, reception always smiling. We always travel out of season, it was just such a nice place to stay. Such a change to the vast chain owned hotels where nobody cares. This hotel is loved by its owners, that is so clear.

Reading all the poor reviews, really people can complain about absolute garbage. This hotel is rated 3 stars and definitely out strips the 3 stars by a long shot. 5 star hotels can learn a lot from this family run business. Breakfast was excellent, pool area was amazing, staff friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for some one to tend to your ego, seriously get a maid. Have already recommended the excellent value to friends who have booked in. As for the complainers, stay home. Your holiday is determined by you, not those surrounding you. I rate it 5 stars.

I love this hotel, it is so chilled out. As a single mum with two pre-teen sons - this place ticks all the boxes. I like big double cushioned four poster sun beds that surround the pool. They feel boutiquey, luxurious in what is a budget hotel - an actual boutique hotel is now out of my league. A real mummy treat. I like the huge sofa out side. The boys love the table tennis table. We all liked the cocktail/mocktail menu. We all like the buffet. Proper local dishes for mummy, and adventurous younger son. Gentler options for fussier older son. Huge choice of breakfast items. We live that the hotel is big enough for facilities and choice, but small enough to be friendly and helpful - you soon get to know all the staff. I was a bit dubious about a hotel that takes dogs - but they just added to the experience. There were also a number of guests using wheelchairs. There really is a feeling of everyone welcome. We hired bikes through the hotel and were able to store them in the lock up bike store in the basement. The hotel is a couple of blocks Back from the beach and close to Jocs - amusements for kids including go- karts, big slides and a few rides. Loads of bars and restaurants close by and right opposite a large supermarket. A short walk to the harbour and main Street for evening entertainment. Hotel Nereids is a relaxed, chilled out place which makes for an easy and relaxing holiday. The rooms aren't luxurious - but they are adequate, clean and have all you need.
