What a beautiful place to stay, true value for money too, a lovely room with all you can eat breakfast that's excellent quality, the rooms were clean, well equipped with free toiletries and daily room service, comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower too, all the staff are exceptional (the bar is outstanding 😁).... Already looking for my next stay 5⭐

Amazing!! Amazing hotel, beautiful, authentique, great food selection and top quality produce, but most of all the STAFF. They were absolutely incredible from the moment we checked in to when we left! This hotel stay was one of the best, big, clean rooms, beautiful food selection, overall, just a great stay. Bonus, it's only 10min walk into Mijas town also!

Walking distance to all the fun stuff in Mijas. Rooms, especially the bathrooms could use an upgrade.

It was great. The perfect weekend get away. The staff, were cheerful, helpful and hard working. The hotel was busy and yet we would never have known. Perfectly located for walking into town. We will definitely be back.

The hotel environment is very good, with a large terrace, lobby, and great breakfast. I will go there again if I have the chance.

The staff were average, not amazing, not unfriendly. The hotel is dated. The gates don't open when you approach the hotel with an uber, so you have to walk to the hotel from the gate. Otherwise the view is good and the town it's located in is lovely. The beach is very beautiful

Rooms very clean. Restaurant good (only had breakfast). Bar open til midnight (could have been later for residents).

Our second visit to this hotel only because the location is ideal on the beach front and especially for local walking access in La Cala. Reception staff are abrupt and not at all welcoming. The corridor carpets are dirty and well worn, but the rooms are a good size with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and housekeeping staff are good. Infuriating that there is no iron & board available - why? Buffet...

Easy access to the beach, great view from the balcony. Beds very uncomfortable only book if you want to go home with a bad back from the uncomfortable beds.

PERFECTO! We loved every minute of our stay at La Zambra Resort, a wonderful Hyatt hotel. From stunning views across the mountains and golf courses to grazing over delicious snacks from the bar. Nothing too much trouble and we were looked after by the staff from the moment we arrived. Special shout out to Adrian, Mirella and the breakfast team for superb service and delicious hot and cold food selections...

Great staff and immaculate property. Excellent service. The breakfast was delicious too. The spa was wonderful. The only thing that should be improved is the gym. It has limited strength equipment. Overall it was wonderful stay and I would return.

Brilliant holiday, ideal for winter getaways, indoor pool and jacuzzi. The hotel staff especially Reben were so friendly and helpful. The minor issue was fixed within 10 minutes of reporting to reception. Like the what's app to keep us informed

Lovely hotel friendly staff great apartment

The staff were incredibly attentive. The apartment was spotless and had every amenity imaginable. The grounds were meticulously maintained and offered all kinds of entertainment.

The location was good, a twenty minute drive the Pueblo Mijas, decent local beaches nearby. However the beach that is by the property is not worth the 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok, we had a two bedrooms suite for 5 adults. The pullout sofa is a trundle type of bed and not ideal or remotely comfortable for an adult. Lovely hotel in a quiet location. We were a party of 12 ladies reuniting. The team were helpful, Josema spent 20 minutes of his time, helping you find the perfect restaurant for our final night and arranging transport. The food was lovely at breakfast. Would definitely return

The hotel holiday house, the check-in hall and the holiday house are a little far. The room facilities are a little old, but they are all complete. It is very suitable for a long-term seaside vacation, and the kitchen equipment is very complete.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. Illunion seem to use it for training staff and, as a result, they try to do their best to help always. The hotel was running on limited staff, though, as it was in November this time and guests were warned that the food service would be limited. No problem, however in keeping some snack food in your room and making use of the copious number of restaurants in Mijas...

There is nothing that I can fault at the hotel. Jorge, at reception was friendly as well as all the other staff. The room was clean and the facilities were very good. The view was beautiful

Bar closed a bit early. There were Ants in room and corridor. No kettle in room. Only bedside lights in room. Staff were generally friendly.

The place to unload the luggage is very limited and poorly designed. The car park is poorly lit with uneven road and obstacles.

Varied breakfast buffet. Lovely outdoors. Waiting staff with limited English. Rooms on 3rd floor are 2-3 stars, but okay. Mattress was good. Central aircon struggles in September, perhaps a challenge for hotter months. Parking is available but a bit unkempt.

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly. The apartment spacious and had everything we needed. The resort was clean. Loved the 3 pools, sauna and gym. The location was excellent. Just a 5 minute walk to the main square.

I have stayed at this property three times. Different apartments each time. I generally love the place and the facilities and amenities are great. Unfortunately on two of my three stays the beds have been very uncomfortable, lumpy and hard. One stay the bed was fantastic

The property was clean and well maintained. The only downside is not enough sunbeds for the amount of guests so sunbed wars were a thing!

I have eaten and stayed at this hotel many times over the last twenty years. Last night’s food was sadly flavourless and disappointing. Despite the fabulous location and breathtaking views, the hotel and restaurant is in need of modernisation. I really hope the owners invest for the future and don’t rely on past good times. This feedback is given in good faith.

Went to El Oceano and really enjoyed it. The location is great right by the sea, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a bit special. Food was very good, especially the seafood, and everything came out quickly. Service was solid and friendly. Overall a really nice spot. Would go back 👍

I have been staying at El oceano now for 4 years and it just never disappoints , the staff are amazing who greet us on every visit like we are family. the food, restaurant & views from your table are amazing. The rooms are spotless and nothing is too much for any of the staff. I have booked again for Sept 20206 see you then.

The food and service in this hotel is outstanding from breakfast to lunch and then to dinner it’s amazing honestly every single day was really enjoyable. The chefs and the staff in this hotel are outstanding got to be there with the best on the island . Now the things that could have been done better the deluxe rooms we had have a shower over the bath this isn’t an enjoyable experience and needs modernising...

Stayed 4 nights at the playa area. A bit dated apartment but clean, comfy bed, quiet, nice view and equipped with everything we needed. Parking just outside, for free. Easy check in. Recommend a car. Pool area and just 100 metres to the beach.

Beautiful apartment with a sea view...also perfect weather!

june 24th one week. Appartment was ideal for slightly disabled person. Staff were exceptional. Stayed before and it was a delight being back here. Hiref car fron Firefly, Malaya Airport. Mobility scooter from Blue Badge Mobility, Malaga, who delivered and collected from site. I can fully say we were totally satisfied with our stay and will be back. Thanks

Miraflores has had one of the best reputations for a long time. From the upkeep of the grounds to the buildings. It's is a very pleasant and relaxing area. Situated right by the sea. You have the community pool to use too. The restaurant staff were ok. The service left a little to be desired. But I visited out of season. Maybe in the height of summer they are more attentive. From walking through the doors we were made very welcome from the friendly Happy staff. The Hotel has just gone through an extensive refurbishment so everything is brand new and of a very hi quality and standard. Bedroom are large and fresh. Food was very good and very tasty. We enjoyed our short stay that much we have booked again.... and will be using the golf course that is right on the door step...

Charity do for F.A.M.A was great. The food was lovely . DJ very good and the singers were great. The first singer whose son was with her and also sang well was great. Just wish l could remember her name.

Second year in a row of coming here as a group of 12 . First year rounds took no more than 4 .5 hours and Marshall were out all the time encouraging speedy play and making slow groups hurry up. We were seeing the at keast 4 times a round checking up.This year we hardly saw a Marshall and had to ring the club every round to get one out . They were totally ineffective, each time they said they had told...

Been at least five years since we stayed here on site. Reception staff very welcoming and highly professional. Room was perfect (included a solarium) and cleaning was spotless every day. Massive improvement at the 19th hole, service quick and food was excellent! As for the golf, as we grow older and our distance from the tee gets shorter there were a couple of holes that were incredibly difficult...

I went for a golf trip in early March. I had read some less than glowing reviews about the resort and the staff from the past so was on my guard. I could not have been more wrong! I played all 3 courses during my stay and notwithstanding some serious rain on the day of my arrival, all the courses were in very good condition (if I was being very picky, Campo Asia greens were not in perfect condition...

I celebrated my birthday (50 people)at La Cala Resort clubhouse and I can’t think of a better venue to doing this. Staff was super helpful, professional and kind, food and drinks great and the place unbelievable. The whole process was also very smooth and clear. Great facilities, friendly relaxed staff, recommend

Exceptional place to stay for a relaxing beach stay. Very comfortable and well appointed apartment. Nice views of beach. Easy to drive to and parking. Friendly reception. Room was ready for early check in. It was very nice that they offered use of the resort facilities after checkout as that was 10 am. The pool is heated and one of the nicest we have seen in our travels. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets...

Family Time 8 nights stay. Stayed in a 1 bed apartment (B3). View was ok but definitely better views from there apartments. Good size for a 1 bed. Son on double sofa bed in living area. Cleanest Hotel I’ve Stayed In The property was exceptionally clean. A little dated but clearly high end furnishings. Large and comfortable. The air con worked well. The balcony was huge. Friendly service apart from the bar/restaurant but this is run by a third party. Shame because the rest of the hotel was excellent.

Great location, easy check in and the riom was sufficient, not a great view but we hardly spent any time on the balcony.

Had nice sea view , breakfast good and reasonable, nice coffee, bit noisy from the road outside, at breakfast, staff nice and lady serving coffee was jolly always smiling .

Value for money stop over. A very basic clean hotel. We use it as a stop over so that we can spend a few days in La Cala before we start our holiday proper. Staff are brilliant. The small cafe at the front is typically Spanish full of locals and good value nice food. Outlook from street facing rooms does leave a lot to be desired. Easy access to all amenities.

when i lived in spain my wife and i have used this hotel whenever in la cala so convenient,good value for money now in uk, i still enjoy the fact that it is not over elaborate but all you need recommened

Very simple place but exactly what I wanted. Quiet but in the very centre of Mijas..the instructions to get there could be better (not everyone arrives by car!) and it was a bit disconcerting that there were no staff on duty but it was easy to understand how to get in but

Nice and quiet location, the room unfortunately very small and with no ventilation nor heating in the bathroom, so after a shower the entire bathroom was wet and slippery for the rest of our stay
