Our second visit to this hotel only because the location is ideal on the beach front and especially for local walking access in La Cala. Reception staff are abrupt and not at all welcoming. The corridor carpets are dirty and well worn, but the rooms are a good size with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and housekeeping staff are good. Infuriating that there is no iron & board available - why? Buffet...

Easy access to the beach, great view from the balcony. Beds very uncomfortable only book if you want to go home with a bad back from the uncomfortable beds.

Amazing!! Amazing hotel, beautiful, authentique, great food selection and top quality produce, but most of all the STAFF. They were absolutely incredible from the moment we checked in to when we left! This hotel stay was one of the best, big, clean rooms, beautiful food selection, overall, just a great stay. Bonus, it's only 10min walk into Mijas town also!

Walking distance to all the fun stuff in Mijas. Rooms, especially the bathrooms could use an upgrade.

It was great. The perfect weekend get away. The staff, were cheerful, helpful and hard working. The hotel was busy and yet we would never have known. Perfectly located for walking into town. We will definitely be back.

The hotel environment is very good, with a large terrace, lobby, and great breakfast. I will go there again if I have the chance.

The staff were incredibly attentive. The apartment was spotless and had every amenity imaginable. The grounds were meticulously maintained and offered all kinds of entertainment.

The location was good, a twenty minute drive the Pueblo Mijas, decent local beaches nearby. However the beach that is by the property is not worth the 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok, we had a two bedrooms suite for 5 adults. The pullout sofa is a trundle type of bed and not ideal or remotely comfortable for an adult. Lovely hotel in a quiet location. We were a party of 12 ladies reuniting. The team were helpful, Josema spent 20 minutes of his time, helping you find the perfect restaurant for our final night and arranging transport. The food was lovely at breakfast. Would definitely return

The hotel holiday house, the check-in hall and the holiday house are a little far. The room facilities are a little old, but they are all complete. It is very suitable for a long-term seaside vacation, and the kitchen equipment is very complete.

I want to mention just how helpful Jose Luis was in helping us deal with a rental car situation. This is exceptional service by a hotel front desk. Likewise they were very patient with my sleep deprived self when dealing with this with my Husband. Bar closed a bit early. There were Ants in room and corridor. No kettle in room. Only bedside lights in room. Staff were generally friendly.

The place to unload the luggage is very limited and poorly designed. The car park is poorly lit with uneven road and obstacles.

Varied breakfast buffet. Lovely outdoors. Waiting staff with limited English. Rooms on 3rd floor are 2-3 stars, but okay. Mattress was good. Central aircon struggles in September, perhaps a challenge for hotter months. Parking is available but a bit unkempt.

The property was lovely however being close to the main road you could hear the traffic in some areas. The sauna steam room wasn't free though it was part of the gym area, you had to book and pay which was quite disappointing.

Ok but need some cleaning The staff was nice and polite. Very helpfull. But the hotel is not near a 4 star hotel. It needs some renovation and cleaning. We had a great stay. The staff were friendly. The apartment spacious and had everything we needed. The resort was clean. Loved the 3 pools, sauna and gym. The location was excellent. Just a 5 minute walk to the main square.

I have stayed at this property three times. Different apartments each time. I generally love the place and the facilities and amenities are great. Unfortunately on two of my three stays the beds have been very uncomfortable, lumpy and hard. One stay the bed was fantastic

The property was clean and well maintained. The only downside is not enough sunbeds for the amount of guests so sunbed wars were a thing!

I celebrated my birthday (50 people)at La Cala Resort clubhouse and I can’t think of a better venue to doing this. Staff was super helpful, professional and kind, food and drinks great and the place unbelievable. The whole process was also very smooth and clear. I will consider this venue for any celebration, business event in the future

Probably the most spectacular course I have ever played and some of the tee shots are a real treat and the greens were excellent. The course does not play that long off the Yellow tee's and the Par 5's are quite reachable in 2 with a decent tee shot. Absolutely outstanding in every way. All 3 courses were in great condition with lots of variety. Each member of the hotel staff was warm and friendly and the food in both the steakhouse and clubhouse was excellent and reasonably priced Now looking at when to book for next year!

From arriving to departure the hotel and staff offer a 5***** experience, the golf courses are well maintained and offer a great test for golfers of all levels, the staff make the hotel a must visit nothing is to much trouble a special mention to Antonio, Tina and Maria how made our stay so enjoyable, can’t wait to return.

Cleanest Hotel I’ve Stayed In The property was exceptionally clean. A little dated but clearly high end furnishings. Large and comfortable. The air con worked well. The balcony was huge. Friendly service apart from the bar/restaurant but this is run by a third party. Shame because the rest of the hotel was excellent.

Nice vacation Great location on the beach front. Lots of choices of cafe, bars, restaurants. Safe area. Not crowded. Service was great. Nice people at the reception. But, the the resort is relatively outdated. Room was clean but the furniture was little old. In summary, we had great time.

Excellent hotel and restaurant right on the seafront and the coastal boardwalk. The rooms and facilities are 1st class. The restaurant is excellent with great breakfast options and superb dinner menu and food. All the staff from front of house to maintenance and cleaners are friendly and efficient. You're greeted with a "Hello" whenever you pass in the hotel. Highly recommended.

From walking through the doors we were made very welcome from the friendly Happy staff. The Hotel has just gone through an extensive refurbishment so everything is brand new and of a very hi quality and standard. Bedroom are large and fresh. Food was very good and very tasty. We enjoyed our short stay that much we have booked again.... and will be using the golf course that is right on the door step...

Charity do for F.A.M.A was great. The food was lovely . DJ very good and the singers were great. The first singer whose son was with her and also sang well was great. Just wish l could remember her name.

Had nice sea view , breakfast good and reasonable, nice coffee, bit noisy from the road outside, at breakfast, staff nice and lady serving coffee was jolly always smiling .

Value for money stop over. A very basic clean hotel. We use it as a stop over so that we can spend a few days in La Cala before we start our holiday proper. Staff are brilliant. The small cafe at the front is typically Spanish full of locals and good value nice food. Outlook from street facing rooms does leave a lot to be desired. Easy access to all amenities.

Pleasant short stay. Conveniently located to main coastal trunk roads are f you plan to travel along the Costa del Sol. A pleasant A short walk to bars and restaurants. Do take advantage of the boardwalk from the town to Cala Honda. Every contact with staff was excellent. Always professional and friendly.

Very simple place but exactly what I wanted. Quiet but in the very centre of Mijas..the instructions to get there could be better (not everyone arrives by car!) and it was a bit disconcerting that there were no staff on duty but it was easy to understand how to get in but

Nice and quiet location, the room unfortunately very small and with no ventilation nor heating in the bathroom, so after a shower the entire bathroom was wet and slippery for the rest of our stay
