Oceano Beach Club in La Cala de Mijas

I have been staying at El oceano now for 4 years and it just never disappoints , the staff are amazing who greet us on every visit like we are family. the food, restaurant & views from your table are amazing. The rooms are spotless and nothing is too much for any of the staff. I have booked again for Sept 20206 see you then.

From the moment we arrived at El Oceano Beach Hotel, we knew we had found somewhere truly special. In our opinion, it is the most beautiful hotel on the Costa del Sol — the setting is simply breathtaking, with views that are genuinely second to none. Waking up to that stunning sea view every day was unforgettable. The food throughout our stay was absolutely exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and incredibly well priced for such a high standard. It really added to the whole luxury experience. What made this stay even more memorable was the outstanding staff team. They are some of the warmest, most attentive people we have ever come across in hospitality. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made me and my other half feel like family from start to finish, which made our stay feel so personal and special. A huge highlight for us was the Sunday experience, which was honestly one of the best days of our entire holiday. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was electric, and the entertainment was absolutely fantastic — truly world class. We loved every moment of the day and it created memories we will never forget. This hotel delivers luxury, warmth, and unforgettable experiences in every way. We will most certainly be back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on multiple occasions and it never dissapoints. There's a unique charm to this place that never gets old ! What truly sets this hotel apart though is the staff and the breathtaking views, definetley recommend !

Went to El Oceano and really enjoyed it. The location is great right by the sea, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a bit special. Food was very good, especially the seafood, and everything came out quickly. Service was solid and friendly. Overall a really nice spot. Would go back 👍

The food and service in this hotel is outstanding from breakfast to lunch and then to dinner it’s amazing honestly every single day was really enjoyable. The chefs and the staff in this hotel are outstanding got to be there with the best on the island . Now the things that could have been done better the deluxe rooms we had have a shower over the bath this isn’t an enjoyable experience and needs modernising also there should be a door at the top of the stairs to stop the noise traveling from the reception area especially when people are leaving the hotel and the biggest issue is charging £3.50 euros for a bottle of water in the room is disgraceful. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and never been charged for water and as a matter of principle I never used it. Unfortunately I wont book accommodation in the hotel again and will only return for the Sunday lunch experience. As mentioned food and service outstanding but felt a bit let down with the package we booked and received . And for that reason alone it’s 7 out of 10. .

I do love coming back here every year , but must say something was missing this year , staff are great but seemed to bit a bit under staffed especially at breakfast , music didn’t feel as good as it’s been in the past and the entertainment wasn’t as good round the pool on a Sunday or the Sunday evening, I wonder what’s happening as I never see the daughter or son in law about of the owner , I hope next year it returns to its normal great self but needs to up the entertainment level

Had another great stay this time with family . Now my parents will be regular visitors just like us. Everything is perfect the suites, food, cocktails Pool bar. The staff and entertainment are truly amazing there is nowhere like this hotel anywhere in the world that has nailed everything. Please thank all the staff for the great job they do each and every one of them are a credit to you. We are back from Thailand in May so will see you all then.
