It's basic and is probably OK for one or two nights. The roof top pool is lovely but it closes at 8 o'clock in the evening so if you have been out for dinner and want a little dip before you retire then level 7 is shut completely. Staff helpful but probably wouldn't stay again
Just an ok hotell, but nothing more. Small rooms with lots of noises from other rooms and the hallway. Low water pressure in shower makes it hard to get rid of the shampoo. Pool at the roof, and with a view to the sea. The hotel is close to a traficcated street, so not possible to sleep with the window open. Short distance downhill to the beach and restaurants in the center of the city.
You've got a Rooftop Jacuzzi, it's in the center of Villajoyosa and near the beach. Solarium was closed and breakfast not used by me. Pretty cool hotel, nice for a trip. Staff friendly. -1 star as there were some details that have to be done, example: Shower on the Rooftop didn't work Jacuzzi had sand from day 1 (cleaning?) This hotel is one of our best stays on our list, the breakfast is definitely hands down the best compared to some. And they make your coffee or espresso fresh .

This is a lovely hotel located just south of the Old Town and right on the seafront with access to the beach and promenade. A bright clean hotel. My bedroom/bathroom was large clean and comfy. There is a great rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

As first-time visitors to Benidorm, this was the perfect choice for our mini break. The location was ideal—just outside the hustle and bustle of the main resort, yet within easy walking distance of everything Benidorm has to offer. It struck a great balance between convenience and a more relaxed atmosphere.

Having stayed at the Cabana several times now, I can find little fault. The location is good. The rooms would benefit from updating but are large with ample storage. The balconies are of a very generous size and private. They would however, benefit from improved furniture. There is a very high standard of cleanliness throughout. The hotel room was clean and tidy, a great position close to beach and restaurants not far from old town as well. We were there when the power cut happened. I cannot praise the staff enough for the way we were treated not only that day but everyday we were there. 100% would recommend and return again. Mike & Sue Miles.
This place is great, took us in without notice when we had a problem with another accomodation, staff is kind and helpful, located in a very nice area with all kind of services around, room are spacious and sparkling clean with great A/C and the buffet breakfast is delicious and varied !!
arrived after a tiresome journey the owner came out to take our cases in,checkin was swift room with a balcony at front of hotel daughter in next room great the room was great beds wow and soft, all the staff wwere great food a ok bottle of wine on the table at meal times although the hotel was 90% full no waiting for a table staff were on the ball would I use this hotel again YES.

Great little hotel. Totally serves its purpose. Free safety deposit box and air conditioning. Complimentary toiletries and a handy little fridge in the room also. Excellent location. Rooms have everything you need if you like supporting local businesses. Therefore, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. There is a machine in reception but with a number of excellent cafe bars literally on the doorstep it's not an issue. Everything else you need is in the room, including a free safety deposit box.

What a wonderful hotel. We just spent a week here and have no complaints at all. We were amazed at how clean everything was, even public areas including toilets. Me and my partner spent 10 nights in the Montemar hotel Benidorm, staff here are absolutely fantastic nothing is too much trouble and they are very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is situated in the old town and it has excellent views of the beach from the roof terrace. The hotel is extremely clean and everything about it made our holiday perfect. First visit to Hotel Montemar and in July. It was a 5 day holiday in the heatwave of 2025 over there. Montemar is a fabulous location with a 30 sec walk over the road to the beach. No pool, but a rooftop terrace open from 5pm - 12am. The rooms are basic and cleaned daily, but not necessarily the bed sheets. No bath but a great enclosed power shower. Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Room was spacious and clean. Only criticism the pillows were not comfy. Oh and the evening meal starting at 8pm till 10pm was a bit on the late side. Except the pool on the roof, everything was very good, the food and cleanliness were phenomenal, I loved the foam party, the cleanliness was very good, the restaurant was very clean and varied, the views of the hotel are not very good. It only faced a narrow street but generally everything was fine, but they didn't give me the all-inclusive option and it's one of the things I always look for.

The reception service was wonderful, cleanliness was phenomenal, lunch and dinner were bad, the same for lunch and dinner without replacement, they took away your cutlery, unfinished dishes, little variety of food, desserts, almost nothing, the only saving grace was the breakfast, no ice cream or yogurts nothing at all in meals
There's a need for multilingual receptionist, its not everyone that speaks Spanish. The communication problem has led to many unanswered request by clients who don't speak Spanish because the receptionists don't speak other languages than Spanish. We stayed 2 nights in August at Port Fiesta Park and it was a good budget-friendly choice. The room was clean, cool, and they kindly added an extra bed for our child at no cost. The place was nice, but crowded, especially with children. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place. Everything else was great.
This hotel was truly excellent. My only complaint is that there were no parking spaces available at the hotel; we had to go quite far to find one! I also want to mention that the breakfast was fabulous.
Everything is normal, but it's a family hotel. NOT FOR ADULTS, as they say.
