Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. There's also a subway station nearby that goes to the train station. The buffet breakfast offers a decent variety, much better than what I've had in the UK.
The only downside is that the location isn't close to the main attractions, requiring about a 10-minute walk. This makes it a bit inconvenient for visiting places like the Royal Palace or the Santa Cruz neighborhood.
On a side note, to get to the airport, you can take the subway to San Bernardo, and the airport bus stop is right outside the station.
