Very interesting and quirky design of hotel. There was a good choice for breakfast. The carpark was undergoing some restoration, but otherwise was very good with large spaces.

So we couldn't find a free room, and funny thing apparently the building is hated by the locals! I loved it, look unbelievable, wish only I had a room so to see the city from that height

Quiet hotel located in a residential neighborhood, a bit far from the city center. Comfortable bed and pillows, large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Good breakfast. The hotel bar closes at 6 pm.

Everything was perfect; at the reception they attended us very well and quickly. They explained everything to us and suggested an area where we could have dinner in a typical local place. The hotel has a very modern design.

Marketed as a four-star, but it feels more like a decorative illusion of one. The hairdryer barely works, facilities look nice but function poorly, and the breakfast is modest at best with very limited choices.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. It's right next to the train station, so it's very convenient if you arrive by high-speed train. The city center is a 10-20 minute walk away. The facilities are clean, although they're starting to show their age (slow elevator, bathtub instead of shower, old TV, etc.). The staff was very friendly.

Very close to the train and bus station, so if you travel by those means it will be great, but it's a shame it doesn't have a cafe or bar to be able to have something outside of breakfast.

I chose this hotel as it has a pool and we knew it was raining that weekend. Very clean hotel .room was not huge but absolutely fine and cleaning is impeccable. Comfortable hotel and friendly/helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean but we found it a little too warm. The hotel could do with an update as the decor is a bit outdated. Some very good places to eat near-by. Great to have a swimming pool/sauna available. Not close to the center but easy to get to with buses or a 20/25min walk.

The family room is ample for 3-4 people. Good service and close to Fernandez Vega for eye appointments.

Nice quiet hotel easy to reach at the ring of Oviedo. You can stop in front of the door to do the check in. The hotel has it's own inside parking. The service is good, the bedrooms are large and clean. From the hotel you can walk in 5 minutes to the very nice old city center.

We stayed here for 1 night before heading to Santander and the ferry home. The check in process was very quick and the staff very informative about how to get to the old town and areas of interest. This is a nice hotel in the heart of town, close to a large, beautiful park and many options for dining and shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. One nit: our room had a step leading to the bathroom, and the bathtub was very slippery when showering, despite having a few grooves built into the porcelain.

Excellent position Hotel, is not accessible by car, but a car park is available 2 mins away, and the hotel arranges a very good rate. The check in was easy, very friendly and the room was very good, nice an comfy. NH Principado is situated in the centre of town and was perfect for an overnight stop and to explore Oviedo

Brilliant choice in Oviedo Really good location, a stone's throw of the Cathedral and walking distance to everything. The hotel overall seemed a little dated but it was well kept and the junior suite was a good size, airy and comfortable, though it was quite overlooked by multiple adjacent buildings. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and good quality.

We stayed one night while walking the Caimino del Norte. The hotel was excellent. We had a large room with a balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable.

I'd say that three stars could be better for this price. The position is really good, but a lack of ventilation, sound isolation and at least a small refrigerator spoiled a bit. Bathroom and breakfasts are not ideal also but more-or-less satisfying. Personnel was friendly and helpful.

No air conditioning or fan, very hot in the room, cracked wood floor, spider webs on a lampshade, the hallway stinks, you can hear the noise from the street.

The service provided by the hotel staff has been "EXEMPLARY." The facilities are outdated and in need of a major remodel and update. I know this, as does everyone who visits the hotel, and the new owners do too. Cleanliness is the best they can manage given the state of the establishment. Excellent location, just a stone's throw from the center and San Lorenzo beach. Beautiful views of Begoña Promenade. Very basic breakfast. A highlight is the vending machine with free hot drinks for guests.

A group of friends stayed in four rooms. The hotel is very central, but if you're looking for a relaxing break, this isn't the place to stay. Front desk staff inefficient-watched me, an 82 year old man drag our luggage up 5-6 steps from driveway to check in. 2 staff at desk, no traffic at counter. Room service was awful.

We stayed here for one night on 30 Oct. The location is very good - just minutes walk from the Cahedral. Lot of choices for food and drinks nearby. 20 minutes walk from the Oviedo Bus station which is quite big with buses to Cangas De Onis, Asturius airport, Bilbao among others. The staff here was so accommodating and kind, I would definitely stay here when I visit Asturias again. The location is really outstanding, I didn’t rent a car and the hotel recommended a wonderful car service as well as guidance to convenient public transportation. Just stay here...stop looking! Beautiful hotel, great rooms (especially the suites!), and low, low rates! We spent two nights here. The minibar was not restocked. The dirty cups were not replaced. We had to ask reception for clean mugs for our tea on the second night. Hard to believe this is a four star hotel.

Great hotel. Only big issue was the AC is centrally controlled and doesn’t work. The staff can only turn it on. I know this as I stayed with my colleagues and we all experienced the same issue. The hotel, location and rooms are excellent for the price. I was disappointed with the breakfast, mainly continental. There was pre cooked bacon and eggs which was a let down. Bacon undercooked and fried eggs over cooked and dry.

I think this hotel deserves 4/5 stars. We got a newly renovated room, bed was 3,5/5, pillow was very good. Nice big windows. We had to sleep with the window open because a/c was only producing a very hot air, so we had ir turned off. Breakfast was diverse (only missing veggies) and very tasty. Location near the beach and boardwalk. Lovely.

It doesn't live up to a 5-star rating. There's nothing: no gym, no pool, no spa. The restaurant and bar were closed on the evening of the 24th, making it impossible to eat. It's definitely worth the value. We stayed for just one night to explore Oviedo, but we truly enjoyed it. Upon check-in, we upgraded to a room with a tub and we were pleasantly surprised to see how it was designed - as if a walk-in closet with separate shower, toilet, and a nice tub with a glass window to the bedroom. Friendly and polite staff, excellent price, quiet, exceptionally clean rooms, and a nice view. Very nearby a small park, a LIDL and the hospital as well as various cafes and shops. Recommended! If you are visiting the hospital or going to the train/bus station, location is 5/5.

El Retiro Park in Madrid was a great experience that I had recently. There is a lot of open space and lovely gardens to explore throughout the park, which is rather large. I had a great time exploring and taking in the surroundings. Another highlight was the Temple of Debod, which has a special historical and architectural value as well as beautiful vistas. You should visit if you're in Madrid.

Room really small and not new furniture, but clean, fresh and no bad smell. After a long walking day small bath to lay in hot water just what you need for your legs. Happy with purchase. Breakfast +6 euros. I am happy and recommend.

We, 4 friends, have stayed for almost a week and we have not had any problems. The hotel is relatively close to the center on foot or by public transport. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Highly recommended if you want to see Oviedo

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Vetusta. It was good value - a very clean room, a comfortable bed, very friendly staff. An excellent location, close to the park and the old town and within easy reach of the railway and bus stations.

The hotel isn't the newest, but the location is excellent. The room is small, but has everything you need, even a refrigerator. The bed was generally comfortable, but the pillow was a bit lumpy. The reception isn't open 24/7. The staff was very friendly, but they couldn't tell us the Wi-Fi password that evening. It was fine for one night.

Cannot fault this hotel, the location is excellent and very close to old town. Rooms nice size and well appointed although maybe a set of drawers would be better. Staff are great and made us feel very welcome. The bar area is more like a cafe but again staff good and good choice of beverages

Had a 3 night stay at beginning of June and was very impressed. Location was excellent, well appointed large rooms only negative about room was it maybe needed some drawers. The cafe on site was very nice, both cafe and hotel are serviced by the same staff who were fantastic, Andrea in particular who speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable.

It is very close to the Cathedral and for me that was going to do Camino de Santiago was awesome

It is very sad to write that a 4 star hotel have no bar , poor quality break fast and after half night the shutdown the room Air-conditioning system in hot summer!

The central location was a big plus but the hotel lacked any character or style. The room was spacious and clean but lacked amenities such as a safe and we were awoken by street noise from hotel guests smoking outside. Paper cups and basic toiletries provided were not 4 star standard, although the price was reasonable. We were happy over all because of the central location and cleanliness.

It's not a bad place but when you specify on booking or agoda a queen bed room, and that you get a room with 2 small separated beds, your girlfriend get upset for sure ! Don't know who to blame but the girl at reception was not really cooperative.

Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the beach and the old town. It’s a 10 minute way to the “Calle la Corrida” that it’s full of stores and restaurants. The rooms are big and confortable, some even have a full size jacuzzi. Just a comment based on a mistake I made: the hotel does not have a parking. There is a public parking 8 minutes walking from the hotel.

Rated as a 4 star hotel. Is anything but 4, maybe between 2 and 3. Very old and need of some maintenance. No shower door, no bottled water in room. Towels of very low quality, thin., place was clean. Location was its only asset.

A fairly old, basic hotel, very well located, in need of significant structural maintenance, especially bathrooms. Offers limited food service, which is offset by the multiple dining options in the surrounding area. Overall, price-quality ratio is high, perhaps only justified by its prime location.

Nice hotel, larger room with balcony. Had a good breakfast, and good bed, and bathroom. 1 km from the old town, with large cathedral and good restaurants. Downside was that we could not get the room to cool down, the internet was off and on constantly, and the breakfast room was down a flight of stairs. We had a great stay at Hotel Zentral Ramiro I Oviedo. The room was clean and comfy, with a nice window view of the street. Location is good, and the parking garage next door is super handy and affordable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only small downsides: no coffee or tea maker in the room, no cups, and no hooks in the bathroom to hang things. We also only got two glasses, and no tea cups...
