Good place to stay, no so close to city center Nice hotel, quite and friendly staff

The hotel is nice and the service is excellent. The triple rooms are small for 3 people.

Friendly and polite staff, excellent price, quiet, exceptionally clean rooms, and a nice view. Very nearby a small park, a LIDL and the hospital as well as various cafes and shops. Recommended! If you are visiting the hospital or going to the train/bus station, location is 5/5.

El Retiro Park in Madrid was a great experience that I had recently. There is a lot of open space and lovely gardens to explore throughout the park, which is rather large. I had a great time exploring and taking in the surroundings. Another highlight was the Temple of Debod, which has a special historical and architectural value as well as beautiful vistas. You should visit if you're in Madrid.

It was very silent and the room was good. Good break from hostel life.

Room really small and not new furniture, but clean, fresh and no bad smell. After a long walking day small bath to lay in hot water just what you need for your legs. Happy with purchase. Breakfast +6 euros. I am happy and recommend.

The room is clean and tidy. Staff is friendly especially the manager is very kind helping us to reheat the food.

Very nice hotel, very helpful and polite staff. Reception closes as 22:00 but they make good arrangements for late check in. Spacious room and clean. Breakfast is a little limited for the price, but acceptable. Will stay again in coming to Oviedo 😉😉

We, 4 friends, have stayed for almost a week and we have not had any problems. The hotel is relatively close to the center on foot or by public transport. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Highly recommended if you want to see Oviedo

For 2 people booked on 20 and 21 September (€130) Card number 4635 last 4 digits. Canceled and we still do not receive a refund.

The hotel is good. The staff is nice. Maybe the building needs a reform but is quiet and not expensive.

Hotel far from the city center. This hotel does not have the amenities of a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was very poor and there wasn't even a small bottle of water in the room!!!! The hair dryer didn't work.

It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the train station and bus station, and about 10 minutes to the city center. The soundproofing is not very good. There is a family living upstairs and there are children who run around all the time during the day. There is the sound of trains passing by at night, but fortunately it stopped in the middle of the night. I broke a cup, but the front desk said forget it...

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Vetusta. It was good value - a very clean room, a comfortable bed, very friendly staff. An excellent location, close to the park and the old town and within easy reach of the railway and bus stations.

The hotel isn't the newest, but the location is excellent. The room is small, but has everything you need, even a refrigerator. The bed was generally comfortable, but the pillow was a bit lumpy. The reception isn't open 24/7. The staff was very friendly, but they couldn't tell us the Wi-Fi password that evening. It was fine for one night.

Cannot fault this hotel, the location is excellent and very close to old town. Rooms nice size and well appointed although maybe a set of drawers would be better. Staff are great and made us feel very welcome. The bar area is more like a cafe but again staff good and good choice of beverages

Had a 3 night stay at beginning of June and was very impressed. Location was excellent, well appointed large rooms only negative about room was it maybe needed some drawers. The cafe on site was very nice, both cafe and hotel are serviced by the same staff who were fantastic, Andrea in particular who speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable.

It is very close to the Cathedral and for me that was going to do Camino de Santiago was awesome

I love the location, staff and service. Guillermo is a friendly and knowledgeable person who helps me with the best part of my stay there with recommendations for the visit places around the city. Walkable and near restaurants and coffee shops, stores and attractions.

The only plus of this hotel is its location in the heart of the city with a public car park next door at the negotiated rate of €13.50. The rooms are old-fashioned, the breakfast is simple but only costs €5.20. The bedding is at the end of its life. Ok for one night at most.

We arrived without a reservation, but the reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us. They managed to find us a large, spotlessly clean room for three, all for just 50 euros. The service was exceptional, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Truly, this hotel is fantastic and offers incredible value!

Gijon is a great area to visit , the Parador has an excellent location, charming staff and wonderful food.

What you’d expect from a parador, lovely old building, comfortable rooms & good food. Very handy if you are attending a football match, stadium is around 100m away but there is no noise intrusion. Food in restaurant was excellent.

Very well located hotel, in front of the beach. A bit retro style, but spacious rooms. Bear in mind that the TV is not a smart TV, hence no TV apps. The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear all the other persons passing by, chatting, etc…. That is not good at 3 am in the morning. Friendly, old-style hotel, excellent location

Room was very good. Worst thing was the views from the window and the old handlers in the restroom. Some day someone will fall in the bath. Very nice locatiom and very helpful staff.

Didn't stay here, but stop and get the menu of the day. Tons of food, so share with someone and eat family style. Comes with wine, bread, water and dessert. Come hungry.

The building is old but very clean staff are friendly mainly Spanish speaking only. Location is very good for bars, restaurants and promenade. Issued with key and card on arrival. This is a very typical low cost family hotel.

Not far from city centre and even so, 2 supermarkets within walking distance. One is not 5 minutes' walk away. Another is in a shopping centre less than 7 minutes walk away. We decided to spend a few days in Asturias and chose Oviedo as our dormitory town. Exactly, the Hotel Carbayon. Great hotel in a beautiful part of Oviedo. Attention to the audience was impeccable, despite the fact that we survived one night. There are clifftop walks in both directions but we would recommend the walk East to Playa Nora. Staff could not have been more helpful and made us feel very much at home.

Great value offering in a clean and safe hotel. Be prepared to find the entrance door by looking for the signs outside and then you will go up a staircase. The area is not beautiful but we found places to eat at great prices.

The staff were very helpful. The location was great very close to all the eateries, harbour and beaches. The room had a radio with built in speakers in the bathroom too.

Good basic hotel, fairly central. No parking, but there is a parking garage around the corner which had decent sized spaces.

Strangely no amenities, had to ask if you want even toothbrush or the usual little things in the bathroom but the office is across the street in the other hotel. Also had to ask for blankets, and no dresser or shelves for clothing

We had a lovely stay here. Room was modern and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t be better to walk to all the sights. The train station is only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was delicious, too. I would definitely stay here again.
