Great hotel and sojourn. Close to the city centre and ideal for visiting the city.

Loved the location, opposite the Campo de San Francisco. Easy to walk everywhere. Room was basic as per its star rating. Only issue I had was some neighbours were very, very loud. It's not the hotel's fault. Also, plumbing came through wallls, so i knew when neighbors were showering. Overall, I am happy with the hotel as I was out most of the time.

Impressed This was a budget pet friendly hotel and we were very impressed with the comfort and cleanliness. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and very comfortable. Location was fabulous and we really enjoyed our stay.

There was no dining room so no breakfast. There were plenty of places nearby, though. The gentleman on reception who I think was the manager was very helpful and helped with car parking. The hotel is very central and handy to walk in a few minutes to the cathedral, museum of fine arts etc as well as cafes/ restaurants.The room was basic but comfortable with a nice bathroom.

Great location, good value. The location was great for pilgrims doing the Camino del Norte.

I love the location, staff and service. Guillermo is a friendly and knowledgeable person who helps me with the best part of my stay there with recommendations for the visit places around the city. Walkable and near restaurants and coffee shops, stores and attractions.

The only plus of this hotel is its location in the heart of the city with a public car park next door at the negotiated rate of €13.50. The rooms are old-fashioned, the breakfast is simple but only costs €5.20. The bedding is at the end of its life. Ok for one night at most.

We arrived without a reservation, but the reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us. They managed to find us a large, spotlessly clean room for three, all for just 50 euros. The service was exceptional, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Truly, this hotel is fantastic and offers incredible value!

It's a lovely green area on the outskirts of Gijón. The rural hotel is quite well-maintained, and Teresa, the owner, is a treasure trove of wisdom. Breakfasts are simple but offer a good selection. They also have sheep that you can visit.

Magnificent rural hotel on the outskirts of Gijón, near the Universidad Laboral and the botanical garden. We stayed for two people and a dog. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom, and everything was very clean. We had breakfast on the terrace, all homemade and with spectacular views of Gijón. The owner was very friendly.

Rural house in a privileged location, with a view towards Gijón and in a quiet and easily accessible area with parking at the door. Just 10 minutes from Gijón. Great place, next to the city beach, not far away to the center. Staff was extremely friendly, especially as I had some special needs - was traveling with the bike and had to leave it in the hotel to be sent home and they were OK with that and handled everything professionally. Simple and clean hotel in Gijon city center with friendly staff. I was visiting friends in the city, so just needed a place to sleep and shower. This hotel was perfect for my weekend visit. Room was simple but large. Room was a little tired, but everything was clean.

Fantastic and such friendly customer service! They helped me endlessly with printing of s document, had s beautiful and modern interior and absolutely wonderful people working the front desk and bar. Super helpful and kind!

Very good accommodation pretty close to San Lorenzo beach. Rooms are tidy, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and nice. Just 20 min walking from Plaza Mayor. Highly recommended. Breakfast is not too special but good enough.

It's a nice place to spend the night near the beach for ~80€/night. It located on a pretty crowded place but owns a private parking for clients; that's a plus. Also, you can choose between many pillows an pick for your room the one it fits best to you. It's the first time I have seen this, and I appreciated this little detail.

Not far from city centre and even so, 2 supermarkets within walking distance. One is not 5 minutes' walk away. Another is in a shopping centre less than 7 minutes walk away. Also can find restaurants, laundromats, ATMs, etc within 15mins walk. Even within the hotel they have a cafe that serves breakfast - costs extra, not included in hotel fee. We decided to spend a few days in Asturias and chose Oviedo as our dormitory town. Exactly, the Hotel Carbayon. Pets are allowed and it is half an hour's walk from the center of Oviedo. Very good treatment by the staff and very rich breakfast. Simple but sufficient rooms. Easy parking.

Economy Room comfortable enough for a few days. It lacked a bit of intimacy in the structure (shower transparent and put right in front of the room). There is no sound proof elements for the noise outside. Since the system obliges to slam the door everytime someone enters, it is really inconvenient as the four doors are all next to each other. Some people with bad manners were also talking loudly...

No real nightstand in my room, which I like to have for a portable fan for noise/airflow. Shower was awful. Wifi didn't work for me at all.

Friendly and polite staff, excellent price, quiet, exceptionally clean rooms, and a nice view. Very nearby a small park, a LIDL and the hospital as well as various cafes and shops. Recommended! If you are visiting the hospital or going to the train/bus station, location is 5/5.

El Retiro Park in Madrid was a great experience that I had recently. There is a lot of open space and lovely gardens to explore throughout the park, which is rather large. I had a great time exploring and taking in the surroundings. Another highlight was the Temple of Debod, which has a special historical and architectural value as well as beautiful vistas. You should visit if you're in Madrid.

It was very silent and the room was good. Good break from hostel life.

Room really small and not new furniture, but clean, fresh and no bad smell. After a long walking day small bath to lay in hot water just what you need for your legs. Happy with purchase. Breakfast +6 euros. I am happy and recommend.

We, 4 friends, have stayed for almost a week and we have not had any problems. The hotel is relatively close to the center on foot or by public transport. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Highly recommended if you want to see Oviedo

The location is superb, a very prestigious neighbourhood that is close to everywhere! The staff are very kind, friendly and superb. The shower is perfect, Wifi quality is better than you expect and TV has a lot of entertaining channels. You can call it home!

Great location near the old town as well as the more modern downtown area, and the city park is only a few blocks away. The concierge and waitresses were extremely pleasant and kind to my dog and I. The rooms are a bit dated, but they aren't too bad at all for the price. They were clean and sanitary.

Great value offering in a clean and safe hotel. Be prepared to find the entrance door by looking for the signs outside and then you will go up a staircase. The area is not beautiful but we found places to eat at great prices.

It's five to ten min away from the center/train station. There's 24 hours reception. It's right on Camino del Norte. The room is pretty good by pilgrim. There's air conditioning. Water does drain from the bathtub during shower. Functional wifi.

Nice room which was big. Close to the beach. It was quite expensive though. Maybe because we stayed on a Friday night. We had parking as well which made it easier. I only had a few drinks there, for maybe an hour or two, but everything was fine. Nothing important to say, a nice place well located.

The hostess was a wonderful person and the historic hotel in historic centro Gijon had several great opportunities that we appreciated. My only negative comment is about the bed we slept in. It is very old and needs to be replaced.

The room was NOT clean. There were hairs on the bathtub, and everything was covered in dust. There was some dirt and mold on the bath sink and bathtub. I was supposed to be in a non smoker room, but the bathroom was stinking so bad that I have to close the door, and couldnt leave any personal item there.

My partner & I were really pleased with the very friendly welcome, check-in & check-out by Maria-Luisa. We had a nice room, which was great value for money, and faced a pretty alley. This was quieter than the stay would have been if we'd been in a room facing the main square, which is bubbly and very social and where a cool beer or good food awaits.

The hotel is ok and staff are somewhat friendly. The location is close to the Cathedral but I would look for other hotels in the future.

Parking is on the street or you have to go to a parking lot and pay. Washroom needed updating. Everything else was good.

Great Value comfort Top place. I had a triple room to myself. Quiet. Comfortable and close to some good bars. Quite a walk to the beach and Old Town but Gijón bike's make it a cinch. Only possi le downside is that they have no air con.

I didn't stay here, but i want to give 5 stars for the staff! Me and my parents want to spent the night in Gijon and we didn't reserve a room, and all the hotels are full. The guy from the recepcion was incredible and help us to find one on other city! Really nice staff, thank you so much!

Centrally located with a wonderfully friendly staff, this hotel provides quality budget conscious accommodation. I especially recommend it for anyone starting the Camino Primitivo!

A must when in Oviedo. Asked my mom and my first visit was a long time ago with 12 DAYS (she remembered well). A few house specialties to go and the whole family is happy. Too bad I didn't have time for cider. A smile and a wink to Homer who liked it very much!
