I thought I had confirmed reservations, but I didn’t and it was all my fault! Despite this, the staff found a room for me the day I arrived and promised to help me find a room somewhere in the town for the next two nights. The next morning they greeted me with huge smiles and told me there had been a cancellation due to illness that gave me a room for the next two nights. I couldn’t have been more pleased and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! They even gave me a free backpack to replace the one that had been stolen in Barcelona and various other items with the 7Kale brand on them.

I wish I could give 0 stars for the appalling experience at 7 Kale B&B Bilbao. From the moment we arrived, it was a disaster. The bedsheets were stained, and when we asked for fresh ones, the staff refused to replace them, claiming we were the ones who caused the stains! They then had the nerve to try and charge us for new sheets. The towels were equally dirty, and again, no replacements unless we paid extra. Absolutely disgraceful. The reception man was no help either. When we asked for the hotel manager’s phone number to report the issue, he blatantly lied and refused to give it to us, he was aggressive, rude. On top of all this, they changed the front door code during our stay without informing us, leaving us locked out until we could track down someone from staff. Customer support was shockingly bad—rude, unprofessional, and uninterested in solving any of the problems. I’ve never experienced such a terrible stay. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. This place is a total scam.

Clean and quiet B&B in the center of Old Town. No reception. They charged us in our Swedish currency a day before arriving without asking us what currency we wanted to be used. This resulted in a very bad exchange rate for us and we lost almost 100 Euros.

Stayed here early November as part of a group and was very impressed. I usually stay in hotels so was a little unsure what to expect from this 2 star B&B We were on floor 4 in the premium rooms I don’t know why it is rated as 2 star but I would put it at a good 3 star. I can only guess it due to the facilities available maybe. Rooms are clean, modern and well kept as is the breakfast are where you have a small continental available each day along with a Nespresso machine. Owner is lovely and very helpful. I would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Bilbo close to the vast choice of bars and restaurants. Gracias

An impeccable residence, with a very urban appearance and located in the old town of Bilbao, two steps from everything. The building, on a lively street full of restaurants and bars with typical Basque pinchos (a delight that you must try), seems nondescript, and the interior patio has a slightly deteriorated appearance that contrasts pleasantly with the clean, new interior. and impeccable rooms. Good breakfast.

I'll start with the location. Because it is perfect.
Going to the room, it looked really clean, until we came across a cockroach. The staff reaction was that it would be cleaned, knowing cockroaches it is probably still there. The walls are paper thin, I could've kept a conversation with the German girls next door or the Italian couple across the wall. Finally, the breakfast was uninspiring.
Lastly, the service. Patrícia is a ghost, a non existing figure. We only met somebody at breakfast, she was friendly. She also told us that a stamp in our parking ticket would give us a discount, except that there was nobody at the parking garage, so no discount. If you want to park your car just buy it online, it's cheaper.
Thank good the location is good...

Everything was great, I asked for a personal detail upon arrival and they were happy to do it. Everything new and clean and the room larger than I expected. It is very well located in the historic center, with many typical bars around and the windows completely isolate the noise. I would repeat without a doubt, 100% recommended.

I don't know why google days permanently closed. Maybe new owners but I just ate there and it was amazing. Great selections on menu. My startet og goat cheese with greens, basalmicn nuts and raisins was perfect. Braised pork cheeks in a potato and cream sauce was tender as my heart and full of flavor. Desserts excellent. I will be back before keaving Bilbao.
