Great hotel right in the center of Bilbao. The museums are about a 10-minute walk away, the historical center is 10 minutes in the opposite direction. A bit pricey, but you can get a good deal if you’re flexible

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even helped carry our luggage to the room. They provided excellent service in English. The room was also very comfortable and clean. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel located on a hill that it’s easy to walk down to the old town,but it’s better if you go back by bus. The gym is well equipped,you can really have a nice workout.

The only disappointment was the low water pressure and the inability to dispense water for bathing which it might be specific to the room.

It is located in the middle of downtown Bilbao, within walking distance of almost everything you want to do or see around town. It is very modern, with a nice breakfast and lunch restaurant and, at night, a coffee shop and bar with an outside garden. The rooms are very nice and well-decorated.

A lovely hotel with well appointed rooms. Service isn't as good as other places. Phones take forever to answer. The WiFi is beyond bad, not a place for business or anything remote. Had to abandon several Teams calls and start using my phone's hotspot (pretty unacceptable since the pandemic).

Although the staff were very good the hotel was somewhat to be desired. Bathroom was weird - bathroom sink had opening through the wall into the bedroom part separated by a curtain. Surprised to see the negative reviews here as this was not our experience at all. Very comfortable rooms with a good breakfast buffet and excellent central location. Wonderful and beautiful hotel. I had the pleasure of staying during Asta Naguisa. The service was excellent and even helped us get a last minute booking at a sister hotel. The location and the metro station beside the hotel allowed freedom to move around without an issue. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting the beautiful city of Bilbao again.

Hotel Hesperia Bilbao is a good city hotel — not fancy, but comfortable and with a decent location that makes it easy to explore the city. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, which gave a great first impression. The only downside was that the person behind the bar could have been as friendly as the reception team. Everything was perfect, especially considering it was one of the cheapest options available. The hotel offered great value for money, with clean rooms and good service. It is located a little distance from the city centre, bus station, and train station, but it was still manageable and worth it for the price. We were there for one night. The reception lady was not at all friendly. The cards they gave for the room didn’t work and I had to keep going to the reception to change the cards. The room size was good but views were not. Bathroom was very small. Would not recommend for a long stay.

We booked a Double Room but were given a Standard Room with a bed far too small for two people. The room and bathroom clearly didn’t match the advertised category. The difference was noticeable in comfort and layout. This is misleading and disappointing. We’ve requested a refund for the price difference but have yet to receive a fair resolution. Rooms are outdated and the beds are hard; it's not the cleanest place either. The shower floor seems to slope upward, and the drain is slow, so there was a bit of water on the floor after using it. Hotel is nice and staff was great. Excellent water pressure in the shower! Close to old city and many attractions. The unfortunate part is that there are many pickpockets about and you must be constantly vigilant.
