Really bad exprience for this level of hotel.
We have stayed in an upper level room, supposedly a more expensive room for 3 night stay, but it the time with cold bath water, not even once we had hot water.
Also, the level above is the rooftop (we were at the 6th level) and It isn’t very well constructed or isolated, as it is all the time, even at night, with all the noise of furniture dragging, like tables or chairs, and we can’t rest properly.
Also, for this kind of hotel, they charge you for the use of spa facilities, you need to reserve first , and they are really picky on the agenda availability.
Positive points: location and cleanness.
All in all, a really bad deal for this level of price hotel.

The staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. The only slight drawback was the cleanliness of the room and bathroom upon our arrival. However, I would recommend this establishment.

Not sure it's a 5 star hotel to be honest. I wonder are the poor staff not paid enough as a lot of them seemed unhappy and uninterested. Our room and bathroom was nice, liked the decor. DO NOT have drinks on their roof terrace, €25 for 2 normal Spanish beers plus other drinks our friends had were sooo over priced. Breakfast not amazing in any way. Made 3 attempts to ask for a hard pillow and each time i was given a soft one...it just got funny in the end.There was no complimentary water in our room either which is a basic standard in any 5 star hotel! There are so many other less expensive and nicer alternatives in the same area. I would choose differently the next time we visit the city., Sorry guys.

The hotel has an excellent location, directly opposite the railway station and only a short walk from Zazpikaleak. The staff were very polite and attentive. I had a problem making the reservation, but they upgraded me to a superior room. They also recommended places to visit and explained the various events taking place during Aste Nagusia. I really liked the room decoration and design, with a modern aesthetic and warm atmosphere, though a few details were missing, such as a complimentary bottle of water. With regard to the breakfast buffet served in the rooftop restaurant, this could also be improved, as the selection was somewhat limited.

Honestly horrible experience. Yes decor is nice and location great. However, we arrived during the heat wave expecting a 5 star hotel.
Yet air conditioning was not working. We were moved to two different rooms both not working and then at the end staff essentially said ' that was all they could do' and 'try closing curtain'.
The rooms stayed hot and humid with temperatures around 24-25 degrees.
On top of this we requested to speak to the manager who declined to contact us.
Would not recommend at all.

Decent enough experience. I quite liked the spa, which was nicely set out with a good sauna. The rooftop bar and restaurant is a nice touch; we set out for our nighttime activities from here which worked well. Quite slow check in but overall good experience.

Surprised to see the negative reviews here as this was not our experience at all. Very comfortable rooms with a good breakfast buffet and excellent central location. The air conditioning worked very well, despite the heat wave that was tormenting much of Spain (including Bilbao). Nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Great place to rest a couple of nights during our Camino walk.

Arrive during summer european heat wave. Air con in first room was broken. We were asked to wait to see if it improved...it did not...
Moved to another room which was marginally better at best with temperature around 24-25 degrees.
Spoke to front desk and they said this was best they could do and we were unlucky.....
How is that appropriate? On top of that asked to speak to manager, leaving 2 contact numbers and email.....never heard from them..

We stayed with family for three days at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Gran Vía Bilbao and had a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, the check-in process was quick and smooth. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and comfortable.
The staff and service were truly helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. I would especially like to mention Pablo from the concierge team for helping us perfectly organize our tour in Bilbao. Also, a big thank you to Victoria from the SPA, who was incredibly kind and welcoming to our family.
Highly recommended!

A very disappointing experience. The food was very poor. Everything we ordered was either overcooked or just reheated. One particular dish, scallops with ginger, was just a mass of onions with a handful of very poor quality scallops and no ginger. I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially when there are several other highly recommended Chinese restaurants very nearby.
