Hotel Moon in La Coruna

They won't let you check in before 4pm. That's preposterous considering check out is at 12pm.

Besides that, rooms are renovated and decent, the area is safe and not too far from the center but the bathroom lacked a bidet.

Arrived early and the lovely receptionist let us put our bags in the hotel, whilst we enjoyed the sun! On return at 2pm, our room was ready. The room was fine. It was clean, lovely thick curtains, quiet. The only issue was that the double bed was 2 singles pushed together. For a couple, this was less than ideal as cuddling up did mean a fall down the hole in the centre 😅 Breakfast was very basic. I'd recommend not buying the breakfast and instead having a walk to the Old Town and eat at the bakeries there. Overall it was a lovely stay. Staff were helpful. One taught me a little Spanish! They ordered the airport taxi for us. Some staff don't speak English, but we're very willing to communicate using Google translate. I'd love to return!

Ok you may miss some things like TV in English or coffee in room facilities but it's just perfect. Quiet very friendly, we were on top floor, great view, SUPER bathroom, SUPER Wi-Fi and just lovely breakfast. Very reasonable costs....Well placed for the local sights, we walked everywhere although bus stops nearby. A great place to stay....

Awesome hotel not too far from the center and close to great breakfast joints if you don't want to eat at the hotel such as La Granera. This hotel really earned its namesake with a decor and theme of a lunar base from an 80's sci fi movie. The colors are vibrant theres red and blue LED lights in all sorts of places. The room was stellar and comfy with my shower wall made of a neon blue material. The rooms share a moon base theme with its furnishings. The 7th floor rooms also provide a nice balcony to step out onto and enjoy a tall view of the inner city. An extremely fun and cozy hotel at a phenomenal price per night.
