I am a Marriott customer because I can usually count on two things regardless of the tier: a high-pressure shower and an incredibly comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the AC Hotel A Coruña failed to deliver on both fronts, making this the worst experience I’ve had with a Marriott brand to date. To put it in perspective, I’ve had significantly better stays at Fairfield properties, which are technically a much lower category.
The rooms are extremely basic and feel frozen in the 1990s. The design is dated and is in desperate need of a renovation. For an AC Hotel, which usually prides itself on modern minimalism, this felt very below par.
The location is quite inconvenient. It’s in a 'middle of nowhere' spot—neither close to the airport nor near the city center. Unless you have a specific reason to be in this exact business pocket, you’ll find yourself commuting for everything.
The service was correct and professional, which I appreciated. However, the hotel felt eerily empty. During my one-night stay, I didn't see a single other guest. Perhaps other travelers knew something I didn't; I’ll admit I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking this time. I wrongly trusted the Marriott quality standards.
If you are looking for the typical Marriott 'sleep and shower' quality, you won't find it here. I hope the brand considers a major overhaul of this location soon to bring it up to the standard guests expect.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff were truly kind, always polite and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

I was here for a non too pleasant visit so I was in and out pretty quickly every day. But at all times the staff made my stay nicer than I expected.
The location is not the best for all cases as it was busy with a lot of building work in the area at the time, but it worked great for me.

As you sadly know, the Valencia region has experience the worst flooding in the history of Spain where over so far, 200 people have died and hundreds, if not thousands more, are now without a home or shelter. These people who have gone through a horrible life-changing experience offered to pay for the rooms as a normal customer, as well as the volunteers who have come from other parts of Spain and the globe, are being refused accommodation in AC Hotels.
If you are a future customer, please do not stay in these AC Hotels as they don't offer good service and they don't have compassion for people who have lost everything.

A business hotel close to the airport and the expocenter, with easy access to the city centre. Very nice personnel, confy beds.

1. The room is very comfortable. It’s also very quiet, you don’t hear the road at all. But when it comes to service, unfortunately, it was a big disappointment.

2. I asked if there were any discounts or special offers for birthdays, since I was staying for three days and celebrating my birthday at the hotel. No one congratulated me, no one offered to book a table at the restaurant for the evening, and no special suggestions were made at all . The staff just indifferently said, “Oh, your stay is already paid for,” and handed me the room keys. There was no effort to make the guest feel special or celebrated. My partner also wasn’t offered any option to organize a surprise for me, even for an additional fee — it seems the hotel simply doesn’t think about this.

3. Another surprising thing: the hotel didn’t provide drinking water daily, even though it’s a four-star hotel where this is usually standard. We were told that water “isn’t included” because “it’s just their rule.”

4. Throughout our entire three-day stay, no one at reception ever greeted us or smiled when we entered or left the hotel. Even when I was leaving with balloons on my birthday, visibly happy and festive, no one looked at me or acknowledged it. This kind of indifferent behavior felt very strange and unwelcoming.

Overall, while the rooms themselves were very good, the lack of hospitality and customer service was very disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Not the best location in La Coruña but depends what you are visiting. Was perfect for me visiting family, wouldn't recommend it for tourism. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but we were upgraded to a superior room with a massive bed and a Nespresso coffee machine however... Only 2 capsules? And they were not replaced the day after? Come on guys, they are not that expensive, if you're going to have a Nespresso machine in the room leave a few capsules ideally different flavours and top them up during room service.

Fantastic gym! Big, ample, very well equipped with weights and machines.

We stayed for a few days in September and I must say the staff are amazing they cant do enough for you (Reception, Restaurant & Guest Service). Excellent food both breakfast and the a la carte restaurant. Service is wonderful.
Everything about it is luxury. Fantastic location. Highly recommend and can't wait to return. Thank you to all the team!
