Where to stay in Lugo

We have used this hotel twice now as we pass through Lugo. Good location, clean,convenient and comfortable.

The staff are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is great!

Very friendly staff and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Beautiful hotel. Don’t use the hair dryer though :)

Very good choice in Lugo, conveniently located inside the old walls. Parking is not super close, but doable. Room was clean, spacious and with 2 bathrooms. Good breakfast option, too, from the top floor (great view of the city).

Great location inside the old town. Basic but clean rooms. Very comfortable bed pillows. A good variety for breakfast. The roof top terrace is lovely ro visit for an evening meal and/or drinks. Friendly service.

Rooms and decorations are a bit tired for a 4* hotel. However the service is excellent and very friendly.

Outstanding location in the middle of the old historic town, closed to restaurants, main square. Very safe. Front desk staff are extremely helpful.

Came for the Roman walls, stayed for the rooftop views and breakfast that made me question my life choices—why haven’t I been here every day? Staff friendlier than my own family. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys comfort, history, and a good laugh at how spoiled they’ve become.

Nice hotel for a quick stop Hotel is fine for a stopover, comfortable and clean. The pool, gym area is fine but not all enclosed under one roof

We had a good time at this Hotel, we stayed there a few days ago. We liked the big beds and the spacious room. But we really write this because want to sent a big thank you to the very sweet lady at the reception desk (i dont know her name but she had very short hair and moved here from Tenerife). Comfortable hotel to stay at if you are walking the El Camino where there are not many hotels to choose from

Excellent choice for pilgrims, 20m from the bus station, awesome breakfast, adorable staff who gave me the pilgrimage passport so I don’t have to look for it myself. 5 stars !

Clean and comfortable hotel close to the centre of Lugo

Small and cost keeping hotel in Lugo, Spain. Excellent service. You have all you need: bed, bathroom and breakfast. Very near (one block) of historic Roman town. I recomens it.

Had a very nice experience over the Christmas holiday week. It can be a struggle in Lugo to find a quiet hotel that isn't full of people having 4am after-club hookups. Not a single disappointment throughout my stay and the ladies were very diligent about cleaning my room regardless of it being Christmas eve and Christmas saggy. I will be staying again.

Clean, modern and comfortable room. A bit of a walk to old town, but there’s plenty of cafes and bakeries on the way. I parked my motorcycle on the road just outside the hotel and it was all okay overnight.

The room had what we needed but you could hear the wind whistling at all times. You could hear other guests clearly. The parking is bizarre. They have to let you in and out so you have to tell the front desk. The hotel felt eerie, I was uncomfortable walking alone in the area even before dark. There is no fridge.

Limited availabikity of hotel rooms when we travelled. A little way out from.old town, 30 mins walk, more for budget travel than relaxtion. That said, clean & secure accommodation, street parking.

Amazing place! Very modern, lovely rooms, and wonderful bathrooms. One of the best features was the bed. Very comfortable! It's not within the city walls but within a walking distance. I would have stayed longer.

Delightful hotel inside the walled town of Lugo. We were driving from Leon and didn’t have parking instructions. You have to drive into the city at Porta Mina to access the hotel’s very convenient parking. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and spacious but missing some minor amenities like tissues, hair conditioner, and complimentary drinking water available at comparable hotels on our trip...

Family hotel that has the feel of friendship and quirkyness. Our room large and very comfortable and buffet breakfast was superb with cheese choice in particular enormous.

Love this hotel! Will definitely plan to book again. Superb location just within the wall. Right on the Camino and beautifully decorated. Such personal service like going back in time. Comfortable. An unforgettable and unique experience to stay in this charming hotel with so much history and elegance. The owners have put their hearts into every corner of their beautiful palace and I cannot recommend staying here more. Maria is a brilliant hostess and breakfast is unlike anywhere else. On the back of some challenging days on Camino Primitivo our stay at this place was delightful. Very clean, spacious, elegant and very well located next to the wall. Very good service, nothing was a problem. Great breakfast and cafe/bar Highly recommend.

Very familiar and welcoming hotel, I came for work and I felt like one more in the family. The rooms are very correct and clean, quiet place. Now it's time to stay with the family. :D

A pleasant hotel on the outskirts of Lugo. Quite hard to find but worth the search when you get there. The hotel is clean and the rooms large and comfortable. Located in a rather industrial area but there are buses in Lugo and getting to the centre is simple. Good value for money.

Breakfast was good but only do a cooked menu del dia Monday to Thursday. But there is a nice, but noisy, restaurant/bar in walking distance but you have to cross the main road by bridge to get there. But food and price good

Nice breakfast, though not an extensive buffet. Room was huge: small apartment rather than a hotel room. I forgot an item at the hotel and they kindly sent it on to my final destination after I sent them a stamped envelope. I really appreciated that.

Nice place! Wonderful customer service and good location. Comfortable bed and a nice kitchen area. The only 2 things that I think would improve the stay is 1- shampoo in the bathroom. 2- trash can in the kitchen.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff. Parking for an extra charge but limited space so book in advance, but you would expect this as just outside the city. We were in an apartment, which was great as included a double hob with kitchen but no cutlery, pots, pans, plates etc. So bring your own. 5 minutes walk from city walls.

Value for money and good location. They gave us a room with bathroom, living room and kitchen (without utensils). For 34 euros you can not ask for more. And very clean. Breakfast included and it was very complete.

Cheap but unexpectedly comfortable

Big apartment style hotel with a suite of rooms. Friendly service. About 12 minutes walk to the centre.Showers with good pressure and lots of hot water. Not very comfortable beds.

We arrived late, and had to WhatsApp our passports to a number remotely to get in which was quite a hassle. The rooms were somewhat dated but generally clean. No kettle or hot water available in the room and no spoons or stirrers provided to make drinks either. Breakfast buffet was decent with Tortillas, Empanadas, cold cuts and cheese with some fruits. Budget hotel but nice and clean. You can choose to park in the garage for €6 or there’s some outdoor parking available if you’re lucky. The rooms were a bit cold because the apartment is tiled, however, there is a radiator that you can turn on and off. The kitchenette is perfect if you want to cook something, with a mini fridge too. Great hotel that's 5 minutes away from Lugo by car. Restaurants, a mall, gas stations and other stores are all nearby as well. Stayed for a few days and rooms were spacious and always clean. The staff was friendly and parking wasn't a hassle. I definitely recommend it to anyone staying by Lugo.
