Room was spotless, good shared bathroom, quiet May benefit from an extra blanket on cold nights!
Good location. Amazing service, and they are really helpful
Very convenient to the cathedral. Lots of walking involved, however. Especially the stairs are not for the faint of heart. A bit tricky to gain entrance the first time.
The staff speaks English, and the room isn't large but isn't claustrophobically cramped. The room comes with two towels, a TV, and a remote-controlled ceiling fan. The bathrooms are "shared," but clean and sufficient, as there were never any occasions when they were all occupied.
The price/performance ratio is still acceptable
We decided to stay an extra night and staff was so accommodating. Excellent location.

Well located hotel ca. 10 minutes by foot away from the Cathedral. I enjoyed the breakfast with good coffee, friendly staff and welcoming arrangements.
Spend 1 night here got locked into the bathroom as the lock had jammed the manager offered another room but I declined as moving to another room after having sorted my stuff so I just left the door open
This is an excellent hotel to be at when you complete your Camino de Santiago. Communication after the booking process was very good, Booking allowed me to pay when I arrived, and I was given an early check in. The gentleman at reception is just so lovely and professional. It's in a fantastic location, boasting a unique architecture and interior design. My room has great heating, a much-needed bath...
Nice and clean hotel. Good location between the Cathedral and the train, bus station. Three grocery stores and many cafės nearby. Staff very helpful.
I was wonder that this hotel is 2 STAAR according to reviews. In my opinion is more than 2. Rooms very clean enough space. Great location. Breakfast only 5. Elevator a big plus. People very helpful. I was planning stay 2 nights and I ended with 3 nights. If they will add better amenities like good shampoo and water will be more than 3 STAARS
Nice rooms, if small, with AC. Good value. We didn't do breakfast buffet. Good location to Camino, Carrefour grocery 1 block away. Beds low to ground. Tall people hit their heads on the stairs going to lobby.

This hotel is situated just outside the old town, close to a bus stop for the airport. It is clean, quiet & comfortable. The bedroom was a good size with a great en-suite shower. Breakfast was more than adequate. Great value.
You will not regret staying here at the end of your Camino. It was an oasis of comfort and a veritable luxury hotel after the shabbier places we had stayed along the way. I have no idea how this compares to the other hotels in Santiago de Compostela, but it's hard to see what you could improve on here. The location just outside the city center is walkable from the cathedral and all the surrounding...
Rooms were great and hotel is well placed. Our group checked out this morning and the receptionist/breakfast lady was irritable as if we were in her way. We were well within serving time. It made our group feel uncomfortable.
After the Camino, this hotel was perfect. The rooms are comfortable. The shower is excellent. The breakfast is not as elaborate as many hotels. The road is very steep outside this hotel, so you will need to walk another hill. But you should be used to it by now.
Basic but comfortable accommodation within a fifteen minute walk of the cathedral and lots of cafes ,bars and restaurants. There is a kettle in the room but no tea ,coffee or milk.Close to the market and all that is happening in Santiago de Compostela. There is a great bar five minutes walk away called Momo 38.Continental breakfast is available for 5 euro.
We unfortunately had only one night there as we had to leave early because of a death in the family but everything was great at the hotel

This hotel and restaurant has superb food and excellent staff and service. The dishes were creative and fresh. The wines were delicious and the table service was fast and correct. The cost was very reasonable even though the hotel is situated very near the main square. The tables are situated in the shade which makes for a pleasant dining experience. The waiting staff speak a reasonable amount of...
After completing the Camino del Norte, I just needed a convenient and peaceful place to stay—and this was the perfect choice. No interaction with other guests, so privacy was maintained. Close to everything, with a plaza view and a nice cafeteria. Great seating area. It was still a bit cold without the sun, and I saw people moving around, searching for sunny spots.
After a long Camino from Porto to santiago I arrive at the Arco Hotel. check in was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the plaza. The room was uper clean and the bathroom large and spacious. Towels beeding were all to a good standard. This hotel is very good value for money. Smack in the misddle of the historic old town and yet in a quiet location....
We love this place. Lively and outstanding balcony views. Great service, easy check in and although the rooms have no AC, it was still very comfortable. Being over the restaurant it is not for those needing silence to sleep. Personally we liked the noise and atmosphere!
This cute hotel is my go-to place to stay after every camino! Great service, easy check in, fantastic food at their restaurant! The rooms have no AC, but that didn’t bother me, it was still very comfortable to sleep!
Fantastic location close to the old town Staff in linked/adjoining restaurant/bar very friendly and helpful- waiting on us as we arrived after 11 at night with hotel small reception not staffed all day Room was great- bathroom a little small but absolutely fine

The staff were very helpful and attentive. Excellent service overall.
I am walking(ed) the Camino and my grand finale at Santiago on October 7th, 2025 was complete with an EXCELLENT STAY here. I was greeted by Roberto whose ENTHUSIASM is contagious, extremely professional and helpful, within minutes I was settled. We had a bedroom in the attic which was great, different but great
Excellent service /lovely comfortable hotel for our end of Camiño stay. Special shout out to Robert who goes above and beyond to look after his guests in a very professional way. We would highly recommend this hotel. Trish and Sinead / Dublin
A perfect stay after our Camino walk! Monica at the front desk was terrific and welcomed us warmly. The breakfast is a nice touch. Our first morning, there was a problem with the food provider, but the hotel provided us breakfast two doors down. The hotel is modern and minimalist, but very comfortable. Would stay here again on my next Camino!
Not very clean The property is very plain. Not so great location. The hotel needs overall maintenance. Not too clean. There was a centipede in my room, which are usually present with dirtiness

the rooms are very clean and cozy. Really comfy beds and silent during the night. The location is great and the owner + entire team is really welcoming and friendly.
Great stay for a break day after the Camino (apprx 900KM) before catching a flight to Madrid. Clean and closed to the cathedral and places to eat.
Quiet lil room on third floor. Very cozy staff were excellent. The fan in room did not work though. Luckily weather did not require
Got this room through the booking agency we used for the camino. It’s a nice enough hotel but more than a bit tired. Coffee at breakfast was good but the rest was mediocre. The beds are not comfortable…by far the worst of our trip. It’s close to the old town but I’m sure there are better places for the price. Would not choose this place.
A nice stone building with modern styled reception and rooms. This gives a nice atmosphere. Little breakfast cafe area and a basement restaurant. Very close to the old centre with lots of restaurants, cafes and beautiful streets. The Cathedral is about a 10min walk. I found the location very good and the airport bus route passes the door. At only €1pp per trip it's great value.
I loved my stay here, for the price I think it's good value.. my attic room was rustic and large with three single beds in it, so plenty of space for up to three people.. having a bath was also a luxury I wasn't expecting and was very pleased to indulge in.. being just outside of the main old town, it's close to a great street for restaurants a park area and a short walk (15min) to the train/bus station...

Great hospitality - all three reception staff (different shifts), were great at welcoming, conversation and all were very helpful. Location is close to the park and to the centre. Rear facing bedroom had a fantastic view of the cathedral. Despite really hot weather (32c), the room was cool and had a great fan. This hotel is a beautiful and charming boutique hotel located just on the edge of the old town in Santiago de Compostela. Rims are stunning and full of charm with exposed stone and tasteful decor. After the Camino, all I needed was a hot shower and a soft bed. But this small, cozy hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s close to all the main spots, with a clean, comfortable room and a great bathroom — the tropical shower was amazing (if you’ve stayed in small hotels, you know how rare that is!). The perfect final stop after the Camino. And falling asleep to such an incredible view? Absolutely priceless
This is a small but perfectly formed hotel, right in the heart of the city. Whilst there is no bar, it has everything a budget hotel can offer, including fantastic views of the Cathedral. I’m writing this short review from my stay last year, as I’m about to rebook the hotel this summer again.
We stayed 2 nights having completed our Camino. Unfortunately we didn't get a room with a cathedral view but our room was a good size with a good sized bathroom. Great central location and beautiful old building . Room was simple and pleasant - perfect for me. The location, the little breakfast the cleanliness and the lift all perfect. But it was Superwoman Charo who made our stay memorable, she was receptionist, housekeeper, waitress concierge, cook. Whatever they are paying her, they should double it. She carried out her vast duties with kindness and a smile.
Only one night, perfect location in the old town. Cosy room , very comfortable bed and very friendly staff.
Approachable staff, clean room and excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
Close to the Cathedral and the hotel location is in the old town. Walkable to all the pilgrim program.
The room was very comfortable and was in a good location and near parking which you had to pay for at an additional cost but good price, I would recommend. If you are travelling by car I would advise to park the car first and then go to the hotel because you cannot go infront of the hotel with your car but it is in walking distance.
Located in the city center, breakfast is good, and there is an elevator. However, on weekends, there were people reveling outside the window and I needed to wear earplugs to sleep!

The accommodation was perfect to our needs and the staff went out of their way to assist us in our stay. Even when a taxi was unavailable to take us to our transfer to Portugal. The staff ensured that we got there on time so we did not miss our transport. A wonderful stay and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Santiago.
Hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good. There was a shopping centre just around the corner.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, lovely small hotel, Ruben and his Father were kind and considerate..let me have my room until I left in the evening, let my sister bring her cases from hotel San Lazaro until our evening departure. Good location, bed brkfast very reasonable. Many thanks to all staff. Owen Gallagher.
The personal service, happy staff, and 100% availability to guest needs, warrants a 5 star experience at this family run hotel. Laundry service was a bonus and very quick. Really helpful communication with the hotel, room was very spacious and clean. It’s also quiet if you’re looking to rest after a Camino! It is a good 15 - 20 min walk to the centre, once I found the location it was fine for me. Thumbs up for this place, excellent value 👍
This is a very reasonably priced hotel for folks wanting to go to Santiago, but don’t want to spend a lot of money! The only downside is it is about 2.5 km from the city center, which can feel really far if you are a pilgrim like me who already walked really far! The service is great- it’s clean, simple, and a great price for Santiago.

The best things about this hotel are the location and excellent breakfasts at the cafe just next door that can be included in your rates. The hotel itself is very expensive for what it is. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, superb croissants. Hospitality was also outstanding. Surely my primary choice for the next time. Also, the hotel re-opened very recently (early July 2024) that's why there are almost no reviews. Thanks to the staff.
Excellent location. Very friendly reception staff with great English and super helpful. Nice cafe attached which serves very nice b'fast. Very clean.
Great place with friendly staff, a good breakfast and clean, comfy rooms. The only problem we had was noisy guests who I think started a marching band in the corridor outside our room. 😁
This was the perfect place to go after completing the pilgrimage. Wonderful staff, perfect location and a welcome hot shower!

Situated directly across the street from a centuries-old convent, the location is steeped in history and quiet charm, yet just a short stroll from the cathedral and city center. The biggest selling point of this hotel is the close proximity to the bus stop where people can catch the local bus all the way to the Santiago airport. The bus stop is 2 minute walk from the hotel. Thanks for the warm welcome :) it was perfect to relax after the Camino. Very friendly service! The breakfast was good. The room was small, but Santiago is a busy and expensive place. The only thing I didn’t like was the sink. The water did only slowly exit the sink, so after brushing teeth or shaving it was a mess.
This is a place very close to the cathedral. Bea and the owner host me very well. Rooms are very clean. The breakfast buffet is very complete
Nice hotel, good hot water, windows cut out noise, bar & breakfast available, location pretty good but might have liked slightly closer to centre, still only 10-15 walk. Fan not aircon, but Santiago usually isn't too hot so fan is fine.

Buen Camino! The best in the area. Food is good with many selections and pilgrim menu in Spanish and English. One of the young owners speaks English and other languages, cheerful and helpful.
Good food here, nothing fancy but tasty & well prepared -seafood platter or ‘parrillada’ was v good quality/value - and the young guys who wait tables are friendly but very efficient & professional : a welcome contrast to the unfriendly welcome from the older woman waiting tables at a much more expensive restaurant further down the street, where we upped and left before ordering..

Cheap, no-nonsense option for a one night stop in Santiago, it provides almost everything you need and nothing more. Clean, comfortable beds, hot water, all bathroom essentials, heating.
