Good quality hotel, excellent pool area with nicely kept terraces with sun loungers. Room bit dated and bathroom smelled like it had been smoked in, but otherwise bathroom good sized and shower good. Breakfast was good, buffet style. Room a bit tired and air-conditioning bit noisy but worked well to keep room cool. Bed was comfy but no kettle/coffee maker in Room. It was 1.5km from the Cathedral of Santiago, a quiet 20-minute walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and while eating, I could see the beautiful pool next to me. The view from the embankment was great, with a view of the entire city of Santiago.

While I am not an expert on the specific requirements for a five-star rating, this hotel did not meet those expectations in my experience. Nice hotel about 16 minutes walk from the Santiago Cathedral. Quiet area, pleasant rooms, good breakfast. Very little interaction with staff. Set menu for dinner as pictured was underwhelming … the potato was hard and dry and the pork was tough. Otherwise a good stay.

The hotel room is spacious and warm, the bedding is comfortable, the faucet in the bathroom has plenty of water, and the bathroom is large with four faucets, which can accommodate two people to take a bath at the same time! The breakfast is rich and the coffee is very good! It's a pity that the facade was under repair when I went there, so I couldn't take pictures of the beautiful scenery.

The hotel is very big, like a maze. The service is good, but don't rush the waiter during breakfast, hahahaha

Overall, the hotel was very good. The room was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable. However, it is unacceptable to have a double bed for a couple that is only 135 cm wide. For a hotel of this standard, a proper double or queen-size bed should be the minimum. This significantly impacted the comfort of the stay and should be addressed.

I really liked this hotel. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The entire hotel was clean and in good shape. Nice/friendly front desk staff. And I really enjoyed the breakfast; fairly good variety and all the food choices were very fresh. They have a shuttle that’ll take you to downtown but I believe it’s unavailable from 1-5pm so just plan accordingly. Watch out for the bathtub, I found the bottom...

We stayed in a villa which was spacious but dark. It also wasn’t super clean (cobwebs everywhere) and the service left much to be desired. I would say it’s good for a 3 star hotel as far as service and amenities, but not a 4 star.

Hotel was ok , little basic nothing in the room like complementary coffee and water so need to bring your own bath was nice big bathroom bed was comfy nice view over looking the port of Vigo

Modern hotel with olde world touches in the rooms. Lovely fountain and open plan vista on the inside all floors can be seen from the ground floor and downwards from the top level (breakfast room) with an array of real plants hanging down from each level.

Not a 4 star hotel, first is has mold in the bathroom as seen in the photos. In desperate need of updating. I do need to say the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.

This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.

I arrived way early for check in, and te hotel stored my bags while I walked around. Then at check in, I got a nice room upgrade.

The room is OK, the breakfast is rich

The location is a bit far, 4 km from the cathedral, but parking is convenient, the room is large, neat and clean, the breakfast is good, and the dinner is also very well cooked.

Literally across the Old Town, its location is ideal for travellers with no car. You can explore the city on foot, plenty of restaurants, shops and of course, the famous Catedral de Santiago.

I have nothing to say. The cleaning, tidying, and front desk were all excellent. There was also a bathtub, which was perfect for soothing your tired body. It's close to tourist attractions, so it's convenient for getting around anywhere. Arranging a taxi 🚕 in the morning was also smooth. Thank you very much.

Lovely service at the front desk - they gave us a map and showed us the sights on it, recommended restaurants, and were wonderful when I lost something important in the room. Nice comfortable rooms and just steps from the old town. Also highly recommend a post-Camino massage from Iria!

It was clean, But unfortunately the hospitality no so good. They sent you a super welcoming message that for the price of the hotel you are happy to get. Pretty nice hotel with good sized rooms for our one night visit to Santiago de Compostela. The manager was nice enough to accommodate us even though I made some booking errors online. Paid underground parking garage was one minute away but tricky to get in and out.

Aside from the location being fairly convenient, there really isn’t much else to praise. It’s a hotel with no facilities at all , not even a bottle of water is provided, so you’ll have to buy your own from the supermarket. As for toothbrushes, slippers, shower caps or kettle, those definitely aren’t included either. One thing worth mentioning, though, is the very friendly male staff at the front desk...

It's within walking distance, making it easy to get there by bus and lug your luggage. It's also not far from the cathedral. The facilities and service are relatively satisfactory. The only downside is that the bathroom lacks shower amenities. Otherwise, everything was good. There are also two large supermarkets nearby, making grocery shopping convenient.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, without breakfast. We really liked the hotel's location – close to the city center and the train station, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. We stayed here at the end of our Camino from Lisbon. All of the staff were nice and attentive. My wife came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for 5 days, causing us to delay our flights home. I love hotels that keep as much of the original building in tact and this hotel did just that. The room was large with a comfortable king bed and dark wood floors. The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. This hotel told me it was full even it accepted my booking. I was sent to another hotel without shuttling service, I paid for the taxi. It’s not a common experience like this. The other hotel, Eurostar Gran has good service, but indeed too old to be fresh.

Worse location for a hotel in a shopping center, not near the city center and taxi service on the city is bad lady in the front desk was very nice, we tried to cancel and no way they would charge the full amount, is better to find a hostel city center

The 3 of us heartedly recommend it. For people with walking issues, please be aware that the hotel is located 25mn from Santiago’s cathedral.

Furnishing is slightly out of date, but its clean and very tidy, not worned out at least. Ask for the street view, its much better than the mall view. Housekeeping is top notch, cannot get any better. The reception was great and very friendly, we had bikes stored in their store room and had to collect the keys from them. The hotel is bicycle friendly, expect the shopping mall lifts don't operate...

Last stop on our Camino. The hotel was clean, quiet, and easily accessible. A bit far from centre of town so fair bit of walk to get anywhere else. The room we had was spacious. The breakfast hall was big, plenty of choices for food and drinks. Service was excellent too. Just a bit of a struggle when you have luggage and have to walk up towards the train station.

Facilities: About the same level as Atour hotels in China. Great location—everything is within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The 6A airport bus stop is just 200 meters away. Overall, I was satisfied (see picture). Spanish hotels are generally much more expensive than those in China, so the value isn't great.

Good hotel for couple of nights after the Camino walk. 5 to 10 mins walk to the Cathedral, 5 mins walk to the start of the Rua do Franco with lots of the Taberna, restaurants and cafes. Room is big, shower is a little dated and only 1 tiny lift.

This is my second visit to Santiago de Compostela since last year. The location is close to the cathedral, bus and train stations. There are many restaurants nearby, and there is a mart on the same line, so the location is the best. You should also try the bakery across from the hotel. They also store your luggage. It's a shame that I only stayed for one day. I want to stay longer next time.

Great location, close to everything. The window overlooks the courtyard. The electronic door lock is rather inconvenient; it doesn't work right away, so you have to hear the infamous "door is open" sound from the neighboring rooms down the hall.

The hotel is located between the train station and the city center, I couldn't appreciate the breakfast because the train left early, there is a bath in the room, it's ideal to take it after a walk

It's a great hotel with a 24-hour reception. It was clean and the facilities were good. I had to take a taxi at dawn, but they kindly called me and took good care of me. I would like to stay here again next time I go to Santiago.

Stayed here after completing Camino. Staff was excellent, location was in easy walking distance from Cathedral, good breakfast. Beds ok for tired "pilgrim", otherwise not good (rooms small - no amenities really). Not in a location with a view of anything. Not really a complaint on these last couple - just obseevations.

When booking the hotel, it was described as having air conditioning, but upon check-in, the AC didn't work, and there was only a fan by the bed. We asked the front desk, but they simply said we'd booked an economy room without AC, adding that a fan was provided. They said the Ctrip description was incorrect and that we'd need to pay an additional 20 euros to upgrade to an air-conditioned room. While...

Didnt take breakfast, the hotel is perfectly located next to the Cathedral, we loved our stay, but we couldn't sleep much because the windows are not really noise cancelling and there was a lot of noise during the night.

The staff service was exceptional. The manager staffing the reception desk was full of helpful positive energy. The hotel is very convenient to the Santiago Cathedral area. Parking is not an easy option with this location.
