Santiago de Compostela, San Lázaro (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Good location for car driving. The staff and room are excellent. The meal is absolutely outstanding.
Great room, really spacious, comfortable and really clean. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
Overall, the hotel was very good. The room was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable. However, it is unacceptable to have a double bed for a couple that is only 135 cm wide. For a hotel of this standard, a proper double or queen-size bed should be the minimum. This significantly impacted the comfort of the stay and should be addressed.
I really liked this hotel. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The entire hotel was clean and in good shape. Nice/friendly front desk staff. And I really enjoyed the breakfast; fairly good variety and all the food choices were very fresh. They have a shuttle that’ll take you to downtown but I believe it’s unavailable from 1-5pm so just plan accordingly. Watch out for the bathtub, I found the bottom...
We stayed in a villa which was spacious but dark. It also wasn’t super clean (cobwebs everywhere) and the service left much to be desired. I would say it’s good for a 3 star hotel as far as service and amenities, but not a 4 star.
The hotel is generally good, well-kept territory, interesting landscape, nice garden, good restaurant, convenient bus from the hotel to the city center. The huge minus of the room (room "Villa") is the strongest smell of dampness and old furniture on the first floor of the room, which was impossible to air out even with the balcony and windows constantly open. All things, absolutely everything smelled...

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport, which saved us a lot of time during our trip. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was cozy, and the overall environment felt quiet and safe. The...
While I am not an expert on the specific requirements for a five-star rating, this hotel did not meet those expectations in my experience. Having an "old-style" design is perfectly fine, but many areas here are not well-maintained. For example, the towel holder was rusted and there was mold on the bathtub edge, as shown in my photos. Furthermore, the sauna and hammam look very different from the promotional...
Facilities: Excellent! The hotel is a great size! Cleanliness: Excellent! Environment: Excellent! There's a small park right outside, and the cathedral is about a 10-minute walk from there. Very convenient. The breakfast was exceptionally plentiful!
The service was excellent. While the room could benefit from an update in the near future, it remains pleasant. The location is a convenient 20-minute walk from the cathedral. Overall, it is a commendable place to stay.
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at the hotel. The location is perfect. Away from the town centre tourist rush, but just a mere 10 minute walking distance away. The suite was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was abundant of local goods. And most importantly, Paloma, from Guest Relations, made sure that our stay is special and we received a personal treatment to accommodate our anniversary...
Nice hotel about 16 minutes walk from the Santiago Cathedral. Quiet area, pleasant rooms, good breakfast. Very little interaction with staff. Set menu for dinner as pictured was underwhelming … the potato was hard and dry and the pork was tough. Otherwise a good stay.

Locating in the middle of the city but very quiet and staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel on the edge of Old Town, with paid parking garage and decent gym for a hotel. Many restaurants in the immediate area
Great location, service and quality. Breakfast is an amazing buffet for €16
This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.
Booked this cause after the Camino I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. Photo of the pool is below. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant stay.

Amazing location for the who wants to go to congress
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. Breakfast was delicious.
Amazing hotel in Santiago! Amazing find after walking the Camino for 7 days. It’s a bit outside of town, but it’s also a quick ride to the airport, which is why I booked it. Front desk people were super friendly and helpful at checkin. Good in the bar was excellent. Even the pool area was very well done, even if it was too cold to go in. The room was huge, very nice bathroom, and tons of space. Would...
I arrived way early for check in, and te hotel stored my bags while I walked around. Then at check in, I got a nice room upgrade.
The room is OK, the breakfast is rich
The location is a bit far, 4 km from the cathedral, but parking is convenient, the room is large, neat and clean, the breakfast is good, and the dinner is also very well cooked.

Santiago de Compostela, Calle Horreo 1 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Literally across the Old Town, its location is ideal for travellers with no car. You can explore the city on foot, plenty of restaurants, shops and of course, the famous Catedral de Santiago.
The location is convenient, and the staff are very friendly.
I have nothing to say. The cleaning, tidying, and front desk were all excellent. There was also a bathtub, which was perfect for soothing your tired body. It's close to tourist attractions, so it's convenient for getting around anywhere. Arranging a taxi 🚕 in the morning was also smooth. Thank you very much.
Lovely service at the front desk - they gave us a map and showed us the sights on it, recommended restaurants, and were wonderful when I lost something important in the room. Nice comfortable rooms and just steps from the old town. Also highly recommend a post-Camino massage from Iria!
I don't usually write this kind of reviews.. but i had to. Just so you know what are you getting yourself into. The location of the place was great. It was clean, But unfortunately the hospitality no so good. They sent you a super welcoming message that for the price of the hotel you are happy to get. I walked the camino from Burgos to Compostela 500+ km. I wanted to treat myself with a nice place...
Pretty nice hotel with good sized rooms for our one night visit to Santiago de Compostela. The manager was nice enough to accommodate us even though I made some booking errors online. Paid underground parking garage was one minute away but tricky to get in and out.

Aside from the location being fairly convenient, there really isn’t much else to praise. It’s a hotel with no facilities at all , not even a bottle of water is provided, so you’ll have to buy your own from the supermarket. As for toothbrushes, slippers, shower caps or kettle, those definitely aren’t included either. One thing worth mentioning, though, is the very friendly male staff at the front desk...
It's within walking distance, making it easy to get there by bus and lug your luggage. It's also not far from the cathedral. The facilities and service are relatively satisfactory. The only downside is that the bathroom lacks shower amenities. Otherwise, everything was good. There are also two large supermarkets nearby, making grocery shopping convenient.
We stayed at the hotel for one night, without breakfast. We really liked the hotel's location – close to the city center and the train station, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. There's paid parking across from the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We highly recommend the hotel.
Everything was great, except the drain in the shower didn’t work very well.
Nice room on the top floor. Excellent service at reception and close to the city center.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, average breakfast. The room was small, but fully sufficient. One thing to improve would be a missing plug close to the desk.

While largish chain hotels are not usually our thing, this hotel does well.Junior Suite for 2 nights, very comfortable. Cathedral view, great for the fireworks on St James' Eve. Not too difficult to drive to, with good parking, and only 10 minutes walk (approx) to Cathedral.
Excellent location and accommodations - runs with calm and serene feeling despite being busy with cruise arrivals, weddings, and more. Breakfast is out of this world! Pool area is nice if a little small and on the cooler side. Very nice touches in workout area and nice room with tubs. Location cannot be beat for what you get inside + wonderful pastel de Santiago. Can’t wait to return, thank you so...
Good hotel not far from the center of Santiago de Compostela. Clean room and a 24/7 gym and pool. Great architecture and great staff. Also has a nice breakfast buffet.
Quite place in the heart of Santiago. Perfecto breakfast
We stayed here at the end of our Camino from Lisbon. All of the staff were nice and attentive. My wife came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for 5 days, causing us to delay our flights home. The hotel General manager extended our stay at a very generous rate and made sure we had everything we needed. The most impressive piece to this was that every staff member from housekeeping to breakfast...
I love hotels that keep as much of the original building in tact and this hotel did just that. The room was large with a comfortable king bed and dark wood floors. We did have a problem with the upstairs room as the people walked so heavy it sounded the horses stomping on the ceiling. Also, the bathroom needs updating but worked just fine. It is a 10 to 15 minute to the city center and it’s uphill...

Good quality hotel, excellent pool area with nicely kept terraces with sun loungers. Room bit dated and bathroom smelled like it had been smoked in, but otherwise bathroom good sized and shower good. Breakfast was good, buffet style. Room a bit tired and air-conditioning bit noisy but worked well to keep room cool. Bed was comfy but no kettle/coffee maker in Room. Staff all very friendly and helpful
It was 1.5km from the Cathedral of Santiago, a quiet 20-minute walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and while eating, I could see the beautiful pool next to me. The view from the embankment was great, with a view of the entire city of Santiago.
Well located if you want to leave your car or arrive by bus or train, 20 minutes from Plaza de Galicia. The room is spacious and bright. Clean and spacious room with convenient location to tours, restaurants and shopping.
Loved the calmness of the monastery. Dorms were comfortable and warm. Good kitchen facilities. Well worth the minimal price. Beautiful buildings.
Book now! Friendly front desk staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. The pool was a bonus after walking the Camino.
Very interesting, nicely maintained old convent. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Close to everything.
The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. A former monk's refectory, for banquets and meals, serves us excellent breakfast and dinner! The best! Great parking lot for free. I highly recommend this hotel !
The hotel still functions as a spiritual house with 8 friars still living onsite. It is a gentle spacious. Grand hotel and our room was both spacious and elegant. Hotel was ok , little basic nothing in the room like complementary coffee and water so need to bring your own bath was nice big bathroom bed was comfy nice view over looking the port of Vigo
Modern hotel with olde world touches in the rooms. Lovely fountain and open plan vista on the inside all floors can be seen from the ground floor and downwards from the top level (breakfast room) with an array of real plants hanging down from each level.
Not a 4 star hotel, first is has mold in the bathroom as seen in the photos. In desperate need of updating. I do need to say the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. This is what is missing for me for 4 star rating: face/hand towels in the shower, coffee maker, bathrobes, slippers, water to drink, extra pillows, shoehorn, ironing board. While I was able to ask for and receive pillows...
Lines to check in. Rooms were clean, beds good and AC works really good. Guy at the bar super cool.

Incredible hotel with an unbeatable location in Praza do Obradoiro. 100% recommendable.
The hotel room is spacious and warm, the bedding is comfortable, the faucet in the bathroom has plenty of water, and the bathroom is large with four faucets, which can accommodate two people to take a bath at the same time! The breakfast is rich and the coffee is very good! It's a pity that the facade was under repair when I went there, so I couldn't take pictures of the beautiful scenery.
The hotel is very big, like a maze. The service is good, but don't rush the waiter during breakfast, hahahaha
Great location, great service, complete facilities, very worthwhile experience
This hotel is a gem. The location, the friendly staff, the room, the historical added bonus of staying in this place. We loved here. My bed was incredible. Overall it was a remarkable staying. This hotel told me it was full even it accepted my booking. I was sent to another hotel without shuttling service, I paid for the taxi. It’s not a common experience like this. The other hotel, Eurostar Gran has good service, but indeed too old to be fresh.

To see the censer at Santiago Cathedral, my original hotel was sold out, so I booked this place. The hotel is across the street, uphill to the ancient market, and a few minutes further to the cathedral. The room I was given was a semi-basement suite at the very end. Very good and reasonable breakfast. Good and clean rooms. I would return.
Very central and comfortable hotel. Spacious and new rooms, varied breakfast. Convenient for spending a few days in the city center.
Facilities: About the same level as Atour hotels in China. Great location—everything is within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The 6A airport bus stop is just 200 meters away. Overall, I was satisfied (see picture). Spanish hotels are generally much more expensive than those in China, so the value isn't great.
Good hotel for couple of nights after the Camino walk. 5 to 10 mins walk to the Cathedral, 5 mins walk to the start of the Rua do Franco with lots of the Taberna, restaurants and cafes. Room is big, shower is a little dated and only 1 tiny lift.
This is my second visit to Santiago de Compostela since last year. The location is close to the cathedral, bus and train stations. There are many restaurants nearby, and there is a mart on the same line, so the location is the best. You should also try the bakery across from the hotel. They also store your luggage. It's a shame that I only stayed for one day. I want to stay longer next time.

The hotel was great! Clean, beautiful rooms and locations! The staff was so Friendly and accommodating. I only have one star off for the area around the location because it’s extremely loud - nothing that could have been done different by hotel but important to consider if that’s something that bothers you.

The reception was very pleasant. They gave us complete and specific information. The double room for our two girls was very adequate and comfortable. We decided to have dinner at the hotel, where the restaurant offered wonderful service. The Galician broth and the scallop and shrimp salad were magnificent. It wasn't noisy. The buffet breakfast was small but varied. The Santiago cake was wonderful....
Perfect half way stop for us as we had to reroute our trip to Bilbao from Portugal up the west coast to avoid driving through central Spain and the terrible wild fire 🇪🇸 My thanks to the very helpful and understanding lady on reception who helped overcome a stressful situation for us. A lovely evening meal on the terrace was an added bonus.
Somewhat small room with a renovated but small bathroom. Acceptable cleanliness. The buffet breakfast was rich but lacking in variety. A couple of juice flavors, few pastries, and only a few cold cuts, and even a few savory ones. Dinner was a set menu with two options. Generally acceptable, but one day they served meat in an inedible sauce. The staff at both the restaurant and reception were very friendly...
