It was excellent experience but sorry I wrote about another hotel in Oviado...
Good quality hotel, excellent pool area with nicely kept terraces with sun loungers. Room bit dated and bathroom smelled like it had been smoked in, but otherwise bathroom good sized and shower good. Breakfast was good, buffet style. Room a bit tired and air-conditioning bit noisy but worked well to keep room cool. Bed was comfy but no kettle/coffee maker in Room. Staff all very friendly and helpful
It was 1.5km from the Cathedral of Santiago, a quiet 20-minute walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and while eating, I could see the beautiful pool next to me. The view from the embankment was great, with a view of the entire city of Santiago.
Well located if you want to leave your car or arrive by bus or train, 20 minutes from Plaza de Galicia. The room is spacious and bright. The bathroom is renovated (spacious, but lacks utensils; if you need a toothbrush or something else, just ask at reception and they'll give you the temperature).
The temperature is very good (it was very cold outside, but the entire hotel was warm).
The minibar needs...
Very good. A little far from the attractions. It's acceptable to walk. It's a similar distance from the train station.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transport, which saved us a lot of time during our trip.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was cozy, and the overall environment felt quiet and safe.

While I am not an expert on the specific requirements for a five-star rating, this hotel did not meet those expectations in my experience. Having an "old-style" design is perfectly fine, but many areas here are not well-maintained. For example, the towel holder was rusted and there was mold on the bathtub edge, as shown in my photos.
Furthermore, the sauna and hammam look very different from the promotional...
Facilities: Excellent! The hotel is a great size!
Cleanliness: Excellent!
Environment: Excellent! There's a small park right outside, and the cathedral is about a 10-minute walk from there. Very convenient. The breakfast was exceptionally plentiful!
The service was excellent. While the room could benefit from an update in the near future, it remains pleasant. The location is a convenient 20-minute walk from the cathedral. Overall, it is a commendable place to stay.
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at the hotel.
The location is perfect. Away from the town centre tourist rush, but just a mere 10 minute walking distance away.
The suite was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was abundant of local goods.
And most importantly, Paloma, from Guest Relations, made sure that our stay is special and we received a personal treatment to accommodate our anniversary...
Nice hotel about 16 minutes walk from the Santiago Cathedral. Quiet area, pleasant rooms, good breakfast. Very little interaction with staff. Set menu for dinner as pictured was underwhelming … the potato was hard and dry and the pork was tough. Otherwise a good stay.

Incredible hotel with an unbeatable location in Praza do Obradoiro. 100% recommendable.
The hotel room is spacious and warm, the bedding is comfortable, the faucet in the bathroom has plenty of water, and the bathroom is large with four faucets, which can accommodate two people to take a bath at the same time! The breakfast is rich and the coffee is very good! It's a pity that the facade was under repair when I went there, so I couldn't take pictures of the beautiful scenery.
The hotel is very big, like a maze. The service is good, but don't rush the waiter during breakfast, hahahaha
Great location, great service, complete facilities, very worthwhile experience
This hotel is a gem. The location, the friendly staff, the room, the historical added bonus of staying in this place. We loved here. My bed was incredible. Overall it was a remarkable staying. I want to thank the hotel staff for helping us. We had many suitcases and wheelchair. The helped us since the moment we arrived to the hotel. Stayed here for two nights at the end of December. Absolutely beautiful building and so much attention been given to maintaining the character of the building and furniture.
You can stroll around the numerous beautiful courtyards and appreciate this amazing old building.

Good location for car driving. The staff and room are excellent. The meal is absolutely outstanding.
Great room, really spacious, comfortable and really clean. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
Overall, the hotel was very good. The room was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable.
However, it is unacceptable to have a double bed for a couple that is only 135 cm wide. For a hotel of this standard, a proper double or queen-size bed should be the minimum. This significantly impacted the comfort of the stay and should be addressed.
I really liked this hotel. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The entire hotel was clean and in good shape. Nice/friendly front desk staff. And I really enjoyed the breakfast; fairly good variety and all the food choices were very fresh. They have a shuttle that’ll take you to downtown but I believe it’s unavailable from 1-5pm so just plan accordingly. Watch out for the bathtub, I found the bottom...
We stayed in a villa which was spacious but dark. It also wasn’t super clean (cobwebs everywhere) and the service left much to be desired. I would say it’s good for a 3 star hotel as far as service and amenities, but not a 4 star.
The hotel is generally good, well-kept territory, interesting landscape, nice garden, good restaurant, convenient bus from the hotel to the city center. The huge minus of the room (room "Villa") is the strongest smell of dampness and old furniture on the first floor of the room, which was impossible to air out even with the balcony and windows constantly open. All things, absolutely everything smelled...

Nice well appointed hotel located near the campus and easy to get to cathedral and the camino path to Finistera
Hotel was ok , little basic nothing in the room like complementary coffee and water so need to bring your own bath was nice big bathroom bed was comfy nice view over looking the port of Vigo
Modern hotel with olde world touches in the rooms. Lovely fountain and open plan vista on the inside all floors can be seen from the ground floor and downwards from the top level (breakfast room) with an array of real plants hanging down from each level.
Not a 4 star hotel, first is has mold in the bathroom as seen in the photos. In desperate need of updating.
I do need to say the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly.
This is what is missing for me for 4 star rating: face/hand towels in the shower, coffee maker, bathrobes, slippers, water to drink, extra pillows, shoehorn, ironing board. While I was able to ask for and receive pillows...
Lines to check in. Rooms were clean, beds good and AC works really good. Guy at the bar super cool.
This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.

Locating in the middle of the city but very quiet and staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel on the edge of Old Town, with paid parking garage and decent gym for a hotel. Many restaurants in the immediate area
Great location, service and quality. Breakfast is an amazing buffet for €16
This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.

Amazing find after walking the Camino for 7 days. It’s a bit outside of town, but it’s also a quick ride to the airport, which is why I booked it. Literally across the Old Town, its location is ideal for travellers with no car. You can explore the city on foot, plenty of restaurants, shops and of course, the famous Catedral de Santiago.
The location is convenient, and the staff are very friendly.
I have nothing to say.
The cleaning, tidying, and front desk were all excellent.
There was also a bathtub, which was perfect for soothing your tired body.
It's close to tourist attractions, so it's convenient for getting around anywhere.
Arranging a taxi 🚕 in the morning was also smooth.
Thank you very much.
Lovely service at the front desk - they gave us a map and showed us the sights on it, recommended restaurants, and were wonderful when I lost something important in the room. Nice comfortable rooms and just steps from the old town. Also highly recommend a post-Camino massage from Iria!
I don't usually write this kind of reviews.. but i had to.
Just so you know what are you getting yourself into. The location of the place was great. It was clean, But unfortunately the hospitality no so good. They sent you a super welcoming message that for the price of the hotel you are happy to get.
I walked the camino from Burgos to Compostela 500+ km. I wanted to treat myself with a nice place...

Aside from the location being fairly convenient, there really isn’t much else to praise. It’s a hotel with no facilities at all , not even a bottle of water is provided, so you’ll have to buy your own from the supermarket. As for toothbrushes, slippers, shower caps or kettle, those definitely aren’t included either. One thing worth mentioning, though, is the very friendly male staff at the front desk...
It's within walking distance, making it easy to get there by bus and lug your luggage. It's also not far from the cathedral. The facilities and service are relatively satisfactory. The only downside is that the bathroom lacks shower amenities. Otherwise, everything was good. There are also two large supermarkets nearby, making grocery shopping convenient.
We stayed at the hotel for one night, without breakfast.
We really liked the hotel's location – close to the city center and the train station, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. There's paid parking across from the hotel.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We highly recommend the hotel.
Everything was great, except the drain in the shower didn’t work very well.
Nice room on the top floor. Excellent service at reception and close to the city center.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, average breakfast. The room was small, but fully sufficient. One thing to improve would be a missing plug close to the desk.

While largish chain hotels are not usually our thing, this hotel does well.Junior Suite for 2 nights, very comfortable. Cathedral view, great for the fireworks on St James' Eve. Not too difficult to drive to, with good parking, and only 10 minutes walk (approx) to Cathedral.
Excellent location and accommodations - runs with calm and serene feeling despite being busy with cruise arrivals, weddings, and more. Breakfast is out of this world! Pool area is nice if a little small and on the cooler side. Very nice touches in workout area and nice room with tubs. Location cannot be beat for what you get inside + wonderful pastel de Santiago. I love hotels that keep as much of the original building in tact and this hotel did just that. The room was large with a comfortable king bed and dark wood floors. very clean room and great location
The place is nice and clean . The hotel is inside the mall, that is good and safe . No many restaurants around . The area is far from downtown.

The hotel is super clean, the rooms are spacious, the staff always pleasant and polite. The breakfast bar always comprises fresh food with enough choice…even for gluten free. The 3 of us heartedly recommend it. For people with walking issues, please be aware that the hotel is located 25mn from Santiago’s cathedral.
Furnishing is slightly out of date, but its clean and very tidy, not worned out at least. Ask for the street view, its much better than the mall view. Facilities: About the same level as Atour hotels in China.
Great location—everything is within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Overall, I was satisfied (see picture).
Spanish hotels are generally much more expensive than those in China, so the value isn't great.
Good hotel for couple of nights after the Camino walk. 5 to 10 mins walk to the Cathedral, 5 mins walk to the start of the Rua do Franco with lots of the Taberna, restaurants and cafes. Room is big, shower is a little dated and only 1 tiny lift.
