Worst experience ever!
At arrival no blankets in the beds - had to go and ask for that.
- no warm water ( got it after 2 days)
- breafast: second day coffea machine caputt; 3:rd day out of bread; 4:th day no water!!!

Room was totally different shown from pictures. Old rotten wood, no amenities in room, tv not working. Breakfasts not worth mentioning, worse than continental breakfasts.

Good location, but photos are misleading :( Backyard window view is not a window view at all.

we had a wonderful night! we were so lucky to have a room with a balcony! it was wonderful to watch the rustling palm trees while enjoying a glass of wine. the location is perfect, the guy at the reception was super friendly, the room was basic but clean, perfect for a quick overnight stay (after the madness in Playa del Inglés). right next door, we had a delicious pizza with dates and goat cheese. we'll be back next time!

It seems incredible to me that this is a one-star hotel. Speaks of the odd hotel rating system. Of course, if you are looking for chichi amenities & a stocked minibar this is not for you. The room was spacious & immaculate, in a beautiful historic building giving unto a plaza, the most lively point of which was a park with children playing. In the heart of the historic center, I would most definitely return. This from someone who has spent years in 5 star hotels in Paris, Milan....

It is all about the location here. Right on a very popular square and very close to all the historical sites. It may be a little noisy but that is to be expected. Our room was very small but functional and had a great view over the square. I would not go for an internal room unless you are on a very small budget. We stayed here 3 nights which was enough. The breakfast was very basic and you can pay 8 euro on the day if you want. It might be better to go to the market for breakfast as that is open early. We hired a car after our stay to travel round the island. Picking up from the airport - easy as the bus service is fantastic all around the city and island. Staff at weekend are friendly.

I stayed in room 21 with my Mum for few nights in February. A lovely, bright and spacious room with a clean bathroom and a beautiful view out the balcony. Fridge included. Mostly friendly staff at the reception. However, don't bother with breakfast. Very poor. The dining room was quiet, only few guests in and we still had to ask for everything everyday as the food was literally rationed by a rude man who additionally watched our every move which made us feel uncomfortable. On the last day even coffee machine was turned off and replaced with a jug of instant coffee with no reason given why. The perfect location is what saves this place.

Happy with lication
It was an excellent location, great place to stay, public transport connection is exceent, our room was without windows, very dark, room is very outdated, but it was ok to stay as we only slept in and were out all day. You can hear everything (rooms near your room)... Woukd recommend if you are not fussy and sleep over only.

Nice old building, decor a bit old and tired. On a lovely square - the restaurant downstairs is good. Breakfast not served till 8am (we tried to get in at 7:45 and were told to wait even though everything was ready)

Low prices (menu start at 5 euros). Ok food. You can eat outside. Cashier is pleasant and speak also english. You also charge your phone for free.
