Maresía Canteras Urban Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

We had a wonderful stay at this city hotel. Our room was equipped with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, which made it very comfortable during the warm weather. The room was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They kindly allowed us to do a late checkout for a very reasonable fee, which made our travel day much easier. Since we arrived early and left late, they were also very accommodating in storing our luggage securely. Overall, a great experience — I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service quality, and hospitality.

Nice cosy hotel with clean and nice rooms. Placed few hundred meters from Las Canteras beach and in walking distance from bus central and major Shopping areas. Recomendeble.

The space is tastefully appointed, spotlessly clean and quiet. I enjoyed the proximity to both sides of the island, walking was very easy from here. Definitely a standout in that the website photos were true to reality. Thank you to Mario and Andre for their kindness.

First of all, big compliments to the cleaning staff, who do a fantastic job every day. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is well-maintained as well. The hotel's location is excellent and very close to the beach. While the owner is friendly, he isn't particularly helpful. During our stay, we needed a tool or would have liked a quieter room, but some of our requests went unanswered. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice. However, the rooms are very poorly soundproofed. When the neighbor sneezes, it feels like they're right next to you in bed. The windows aren't very soundproof either, so street noise can occasionally wake you up.

On my floor there were 2 rooms only but I could hear very loud every time they flushed the toilet.
Didn't ruin my stay but it was a bit uncomfortable. No outside noise though.

Good location, clean rooms, responsive service. I needed modification to the booking and the management were very supportive and responsive to our needs. The rooms are modern and airy and the location is great if you want to have access to the beach and good bars.

For the small price we paid, we were definitely impressed by the quirkiness of this attractive little hotel. Key collection was hassle-free and the reception area was really inviting! (we didn't get to see the other public spaces but from what I can see from the photos, this would be a great place for a solo traveller to meet people on their stay in Las Canteras.) The room itself was clean, fresh and quaint. It was modern yet the splash of colour and brightness of the room gave it a very homely vibe. The biggest downsides for me would be the views and the lack of parking. Whilst I know it's an urban hotel so you can't expect much more than the packed streets of Las Canteras, I just felt there was a lack of privacy as we were literally metres away from other shop and bedroom windows at the opposite side of the street. They don't have any parking either so we drove around for nearly 40 minutes before being lucky enough to eventually find a spot on the street. Nevertheless, I would say an ideal spot for backpackers/surfers, looking to find a welcoming hotel in walking distance from the beach and the bustle of Las Canteras.

The hotel is located no more than 100 meters from the beach. The staff is very friendly, and I've noticed a level of customer service that's significantly superior to what's typical, especially for a small hotel. The rooms are very clean, with a refrigerator, large TV, and air conditioning. The bathroom is lovely, with a walk-in shower. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful accommodation , 5 mins walk from the beech front. Extremely clean .large comfy beds , air con , safe ,toiletries. In the lobby entrance ares there was a chill out space , tea and coffee facilities. Absolutely would return here without question

People in charge for booking and reception were very helpful and kind.
The hotel is quiet and spotless. The decor is very bright and modern. Bathroom with excellent lighting.
The common lounge by the recption offer a nice area to rest or eat a take away bite. It also offers complimentary high quality teas.
