The best guest house in Sri Lanka!
The amazing family who are running this guest house are giving you a warm and pleasant stay. They're very helpful and very nice!
The rice and curry is delicious and even better than in a restaurant, with everyday fresh and different vegetables. If you stay at Sun Bird Eco Guest Mirissa, you should defenitly take a cooking class with diner. We will recommend this place to family and friends.

What was good:
-very chip price (10 Euro per night) for rooms and services
-very friendly owner, you can ask about everything and you get honest answer
For example you can ask REAL prices for fruits (traders see the foreigners and tell price few times higher)
-fast responding for all request: clean, change towels and sheets , laundry, dinner etc
-really close to the beach: 2 mins walk
-you can order national dishes and they will cook it (very tasty)

What can be better:
-too small rooms for 2 big sized beds
-you need to ask for changing towels/sheets and cleaning
-room on the 2 floor of separate house: was a problem with water (you need to go down and push the button, the you push again to turn off) so we asked to change and got the number with A/C

So this is very good place in the case:
-you want cheap number near the beach
-you come to Mirissa for a long time and need some place for the few first days to find a good one

Result: the price is very reasonable

Also i advice never use mediator services when looking for a house/rooms, just go to the place and talk with the owner. And bargain!)

-Host family are so kind and generous.
I love the way they prepare breakfast.
They are willing to help guest.

Price is also nice.
Location is 10 min walk for beach.
Room was nice and cozy. They have mosquito net. There was no power interruption.

The only issue was they have a water interruption. So it was hard to take a shower, and use the toilet. That was only issue but it seems like it wasn't their own issue. It was whole Mirissa' issue.
