We spent 3 days (I want to say unfortunately!!!) relaxation and luxury after having traveled the country for 10 days. Suffice to say that our arrival was as surprising as our stay, both by the quality of service, by the benefits of this luxurious hotel. You will be very caring and the staff smiling and helpful.

One of the best resorts I visited. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, Sri Lankans in general are very kind and nice people. Their nanny was so good to my kids, while the food was really good. Excellent service and cleanliness in this hotel. Wifi is a bit slow, could be better.

This place has awesome location right on the beach. It is nicely decorated. I really liked it and so I came here couple of times for dinner. The menu is a bit overpriced but you’ve got the ocean view and beautiful interior. Their cocktails are not the best but meals are good. The last time I was disappointed because they changed us almost 20% for service charge and taxes which wasn’t mentioned in menu...

Has a superb view of the ocean, there are tables right on the beach with a pool nearby. Also the staff is friendly and helpful. Follows COVID19 guidelines and feels safe. The food is delicious, especially the pizza. It is a very relaxing and calm place to hangout with friends and enjoy a drink 🍸 while admiring the view.

Really amazing place to spend a vacation or to spend a day. Great food, great environment and really pleasant staff who actually take pleasure in helping you out. Would definitely recommend this place for people looking to get away for for a little while. It is competitively priced as well considering the aminities provided and the quality of the food.

In all my time in Sri Lanka this was the best meal. It was sensational!!! Cool vibe and the beach setting tops it off! Staff are very very friendly and again, the food is insanely good! The wonderful small hotel with spectacular garden with palms and pool at the beach. Very nice breakfast, nice service, very nice rooms with see view. There is possibility to rent a board and learn surfing - this is perfect spot to try it ! Strongly recommend this hotel!!!

What a great place, well located, good facilities, with friendly and efficient staff. We stayed in a lovely garden villa (2). It’s ideally placed in Weligama with immediate access to the beach but not too far from the ‘city’. We loved it and will be back.

The Ocean Tribe is the perfect place for a stay in Weligama. The place itself is beautiful and kind of an oasis in busy Weligama. Just a few meters from main road and the beach and still it is very calm and quiet. Food is always on point as well as the service and the whole atmosphere in this place. The property boasts a very intimate and well designed kitchen/bar/lounge area which for me is the focal point of its design. The rooms are very well layed out and the facilities available (outdoor showers, surfboard room etc) make it an easy stay. Ocean Tribe Surf Camp is an amazing place to stay! Comfortable, friendly and social environment with lush green tropical vibes! It’s a beautiful space to chill and relax after morning / day of surfing. Milan is an incredibly welcoming Host. The rooms and facilities are clean and well kept with good fast fibre WIFI connection. Good clean place to stay with Air conditioning and comfortable rooms. Priced very reasonable. Nice well kept lawn with a lot of little wildlife frolicking around. Easy to find just off the main road.

Went for a quick brunch. Satisfied about the quality and service. Situated in a very scenic and clean area.

It's quite a nice place to stop off at. However we were in a large group & ordering/receiving lunch was quite a timely task. If you're in a group for food or drinks, be prepared to wait.

Amazing quality-price rate, very confortable rooms especially the beds! And it's equipped with A/C, Fan, fridge, TV,... Etc.

A wonderfull place to calm down! Direct few to the sea, silent and comfortable. Rooms are very clean. Service is friendly, food is nice. You get cheap accommodation in 4 bed dorms and a bit pricy single rooms with a beautiful view from the balcony. Surf in front is possible but for advanced only, there are rocks and corals. I love this place, totally chilled out here???

This place gets high reviews and mine is no exception. If you are looking for the surf camp experience this place is it. You will party with the other surfers like you’ve known them for years on your first night and surf all the next day. Lahiru and his team will quickly become like family and make you feel like the favorite child. I would give it 5/5 for vibe alone, but the service is also great....

An amazing place with an amazing vibe. The food, the cocktails, the hospitality were all top notch. Most importantly though, as always, it's the people who make the place. Lahiru has managed to create something really special on this beautiful coast. Evidenced by the number of people I met there who had come back multiple times. Something tells me I'll probably be back as well. Highly recommend.

I had the best time here, I stayed a week surfing, having fun and also relaxing. I made a family here and although it's sad to say goodbye to them, it's happier to think that I can come back again any time. Lahiru and everyone of the staff members were so good all the time. The Surfer Camp is next to the ocean where as a beginner you would learn to surf with very qualified and absolute fun trainers. If you are more advanced, the spots are just walking distance from the club. The best part of the club however, is the professionalism with with the camp is organized. Want to share my awesome experience in this camp. I have stayed here for 8 days with a full surf package with yoga and I've got as much fun as possible. The owner is very attentive, responsive and helpful . The camp itself is very cozy and clean. Food in the restaurant is very good and the staff always try to keep it up. Great place to learn surfing and stay with cool fellow surfers. Most people here get surf packages for a week or more. The surf instructors are pretty cool, this is where I surfed for the first time...and now I’m in love. The rooftop area is a cool place to hang out, they show movies at night. Conversations with people sitting around you flows easily. People that are not staying here also come...

Small Beach Hotel just across the road to the beach. Sweet friendly and welcoming Owners. The Hotel consists more or less of three wonderful modern and very clean rooms.Loved the net over the canopy bed. The rest of the building remains unfinished.

They have a very friendly staff.They know what hospitality is all about. It is located near the sea. Special mention should be made of their fujisan restaurant.The food there is very delicious and they charge a very reasonable amount for it.As far as I know the manager has 15 years of experience in Japanese food. you can enjoy your delicious meal while enjoying the sea breeze.

A wonderful location quite close to the town center, yet far enough away to be quiet and feel a bit secluded. The beach is directly out the back of the resort, the staff are kind and friendly, and the restaurant has a decent selection of tasty food.

Stayed there for 10 days. Spacious room, fantastic view and extremely helpful staff. They even made their kitchen available to us, to prepare a dish for my son's birthday, set a table close to the ocean, for the event. Their seafood platter was amazing and we truly enjoyed it. Every staff member was willing to walk the extra mile for us. It is, for sure, my to be place.

Loved my stay at this hotel. It is a great establishment with very good amenities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. And ours had a balcony with a lovely view of the beach. The staff is friendly and the service was good. Would stay here again if I visit Weligama.

Nice seafood restaurant. The guys working there are attentive and friendly. We had fish of course and it was delicious. Also ordered veg spring rolls which were a good choice. Portions are generous. Decent value. Be prepared to wait for your order as all cooked from scratch. Bring insect repellent as spotted a few mosquitos. This restaurant has good views.

We stayed in the hotel and were eating there for 3 days. The view is breath-taking and atmosphere there is exceptionally cozy and home-like. I've travelled a lot and stayed in many places, but this one truly is top 3 special places for me that I hope to go back!
