Mr Lali has an amazing ability to make you feel very welcomed. He greeted me everyday with his big small and joyful kindness. We had the great opportunity to be there in the evenings when he released the baby turtles. Beautiful site to see and his knowledge of the types of turtles a ns how to care for them is evident. We stayed here on 18th of this month. The staff is very courteous especially Maheshi who was very helpful and smiling. The beach view and the location is awesome. We wanted to extend our stay . At the time of booking do not go for riverside view as the rooms are outside the main resort. The options for Vegetarian food is limited.

Loved the service and our stay

The hotel is simply amazing! The room is stylish, fresh, thought out to the smallest detail. The staff are really great: always smiling, attentive and ready to help. But the most impressive thing is the breakfasts! Every morning begins with a gastronomic pleasure. The atmosphere in the hotel is calm and peaceful. Here you can truly relax, enjoy the silence and aesthetics of the space.

It's been a long time since we've disinfected the room, and there are all kinds of small bugs on the ceiling. People with trypophobia should be careful. But because the air conditioner in the original room was broken, we were given a suite, which made us happy.

Triple O Six boasts a great location, right across from Coconut Hill, and offers spacious, well-designed rooms. However, the floors always seem slightly damp for some reason, which can get on your nerve. Another downside is the breakfast buffet charge—at 5000 LKR per person, it's just exorbitant. We booked a two-night stay to enjoy the ocean view, but instead, we saw construction at the hotel and nearby—building 2 is under construction, apparently getting ready for the season. We were offered dinner for the inconvenience, but we still didn't get what we wanted. I was alone in the pool and jacuzzi, but construction workers were constantly walking around the hotel, which didn't make for a relaxing...

Excellent value for money here. Nice comfortable bed with a mosquito net and good AC, and a very nice balcony with a lovely view of the treeline. Stayed twice during my stay in Mirissa at Orchid Rest. The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the hosts are so incredible kind! Quite far is the beach. Rooms are big and spacious but the problem is the ground floor rooms never receive sunlight so there is mould smell in the room. The owner is very sweet and makes sure you don’t have any difficulty while staying in the property. The property has beautiful small kitchen where you can easily cook food.

We had a room on the first floor with a balcony which had a table and chairs. The bed had a mosquito net around it which was necessary. The room was very clean and the hostess was charming and helpful. It wasn’t quite so near to the beach as we had hoped and the beach itself wasn’t particularly clean and tidy. We stayed here for one night. The hotel is a bit old, but generally clean. The staff were polite. Breakfast was very tasty (omelette, toast, butter and jam, coffee/tea, fruit, pancakes, yogurt). Cons: There were small stains on the pillows, a moldy smell in the bathrooms, and the air conditioning only blew cold air with no temperature control. However, this didn't spoil our stay.

My wife and I stayed here for one night during our trip around Sri Lanka. The hotel is in a great location in Mirissa and the staff were lovely! At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. The hotel is reasonably priced, however for that, you get a hotel in a good location with nice staff, a clean room and WiFi. It's across the street from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The night view is beautiful, and in the morning you can see crabs and mudskippers on the rocks. You can wade across the water to reach the small island.

Our guide organised a birthday lunch at this beautiful hotel. They served the best Sri Lanka’n curry we’ve had in our 3 week trip to the island. The staff was very nice and made the experience fantastic. Absolutely worth a visit👌

Not worth for money but good staffs

Nice hôtel with good rooms and location. But we had 2 issues there : 1/ a lot of noise due to unexpected roof top party, we have asked to stop twice the music , it was not respectful!!! 2/ we have been at 8:30 at the breakfast and all the other clients have been already , almost nothing left to eat. We needed to ask to get some more.

Well, the hotel itself is okay, with a pool that has good views. Honestly, I booked it because it had good reviews and was on sale, but the room was really outdated. It had a lot of issues, like they tried to fix things without doing it properly, and the water pressure in the shower was barely there. However, the breakfast was good, and you could have it delivered to the terrace of your room.

I have stayed 2 months at this beautiful place! It‘s so clean, hot water and even a rooftop kitchen with an amazing view. The owners are very friendly and always here to help. The area is quiet and only 200m from the beach. I highly recommend to stay here.

Stayed there for a night with my family. Unfortunately, we didn't have good time as the room was dirty, the AC leaked dirty water and the bed canopy rail was broken. It looked like a run-down place. Expected better when we're paying a higher than average price. Wasn't a good value for money at all. The only upside was the location of the hotel and its close proximity to the beach.

Although without a sandy beach front, this resort is one of the best. Perfect to enjoy a quiet time by the beach, soaking in the sun at the pool. The staff here are helpful and friendly. Food served is deliciously good. The beach front is a bit rocky but could still enjoy the water along the shores.

It took us awhile to find this place. If you pick this resort, do watch out for the sign, one have to turn into a small alley to find this nice resort. We had a gorgeous sea view with a balcony! This is not the luxury’ hotel that social media would have you believe! The location is fantastic but that is where the plus points end. Very tired and dirty room, cleaning non existent unless we specifically asked for clean towels. The food was good one night but poor the other two. Breakfast was ok. The worst thing was water dripping down the walls in the bathroom…..into the hairdryer! It exploded...

We had a lovely stay at Paradise Beach Club and the location is fantastic. The pool was lovely and the hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although dinner was included in the price of the room, we decided to eat out both evenings as there are some lovely beach restaurants just a short walk along the sand away that are great value too.

'Paradise' is a subjective word... this is a very touristy / package resort type place. We ended up there for 2 nights as part of a group tour. It wouldn't be my usual choice but it was ok. It seemed very busy which made time by the pool off-putting, having to fight for a sun-bed or table. There were a lot of loud kids in the pool, screaming / playing... but not a relaxed environment. Very nice place. The beach is just steps away and it's gorgeous. They need to offer more service on the beach, too. The garden and pool are very nice.

We had a very nice time in OLU White House. This is a villa which is a part of the OLU Resort. Super helpful owner and staff. Good service. Nice pool. Big and clean territory. Sometimes there were some problems with the wifi connection, but owner managed to fix it quickly.

Best place to go with your friends, i recommend this place if you want to get best treatments and have your best time with your friends ! What i liked that i they made discount for if you want to stay for longer periods, also the staff is amazing , 100% i will come in fiture trips here!

Location was good and close to Mirissa without being loud. Spacious and quiet with a great pool. Staff were kind and the buildings are new. We felt like we truly had a quiet and comfortable space to get away from the crowds.

I had a wonderful stay at Mirissa Beach Inn. The hotel is perfectly located very close to the beach, which made my stay even more relaxing. The location is excellent, the downside is the monotonous breakfast, always scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam and fruit, the main downside is the lack of constant hot water, it is sometimes there and sometimes not, perhaps due to the floods that were happening all over the country at the time of our stay, otherwise everything was fine, I would stay here again.

The location of this property is excellent. A one minute walk gets you to the main road where there are shops and restaurants and then cross the street and you are in the beach. Ok for low budgets. Cleaning every third day. Lack of shampo and toilet paper. One towel per person. Two coffe and one tea bag for two person during five days. Poor Internet-barely possible to stream…(no tv in the room). You probably get what you pay for. Low price and good location close to the beach. Ok breakfast for 5€. Nice family running the place.
