Golden Bay Resort Weligama in Weligama

The owner was incredibly kind and prepared fresh fish curry for us, even though we were not staying at his hotel. He was extremely friendly and very professional.
The location of the hotel is also perfect — not even a minute away from the beach.
Next time, we will definitely book a room with him!

We contacted the owner at night and he immediately helped us and gave us a room. We had 6 great nights there after. The owner and his family are very friendly. He helped us if we needed something and we had great conversations with him. The room is very comfortable and clean, also the bathroom, and it smelled very good inside when we arrived. The hotel is located very close to the beach and also to city center. To both u only need to walk around 3-5 minutes. Thank you for the great time sir and we will see us again in the next vacation!

My favorite stay in weligama. You cannot find more nice people than this couple. Everything is so clean and very well located, quiet and close to all the shops restaurants and the beach. You can also access the fridge and kitchen which is a big plus. Internet connexion works perfectly and the place is very safe and secure.
I only stayed 3 nights but wish I booked more.

Cozy and quiet place, close to the ocean. There is a supermarket nearby and market also. Very good place. And there is the best owner ever!

Clean, comfortable and good value. Few mins walk from the beach. A lovely, generous family, they couldn't do enough for us. Thank you! 100% recommend.

We stayed 3 Weeks with this wonderful family. I already staid there 5 years ago and the owner still remembered me. They are very friendly and helpful. We will come back!
