Good hotel but not modern. It’s the perfect place for a cozy stay in the old town. Friendly staff, decent (Swedish quality) breakfast. Recommended unless you’re looking for a lot of amenities in a modern chain hotel and a truly top international breakfast.

From the customer service on a fantastic level of helpfulness to our arrival it was super. The overall level of the apartments was of the highest standard. It was very basic room, downfall I was bit so much by bedbugs!!! I have never been bit so much in my life! I have bites all down the side of my legs, in my thighs and on my back! I’m actually terrified of the thought of bringing the bed bugs back home with me!! This is a run down hotel, but is being worked on when I was there. The worst part was after walking from the train station, I had to climb a flight of stairs, then go down several steps to get to reception. No a great thing to have to do with two heavy (for me) bags.

Very warm welcome upon arrival, the reception lady introduced us the city, spots for sunset and some restaurant recommendations. what makes this experience even better is that she offered us some free vouchers for the ferry’s breakfast when she acknowledged that we can’t make it to breakfast included for the next day. It was great to explore the ruins so near by along with the botanical garden. The staff was so nice, Margta was so helpful with parking, maps and places to go see around the island. We stayed in the basement room with the sauna and it was a fun experience with relaxing at the end of our tour days. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.
