Silvie's house is very welcoming, in a quiet corner of Basel, a 2-minute walk from the tram stop and very close to Basel's main train station, Basel Badischer Bahnhof. The nights are peaceful, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast is perfect for starting the day with a good cup of coffee. Silvie is friendly and welcoming. If you take a room on the first floor, you'll have to share the bathroom with the other guests, but this isn't a problem. Enjoy your stay!

I stayed with Silvie for a few nights every week for three months. She is very hospitable (and "herzigen" as the Swiss say). The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms is top-notch. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. Wi-Fi is available, and there's delicious coffee (plus breakfast) in the morning. I will definitely come back and recommend her to others.
