Very friendly staff, parking available, great breakfast and good location. Our room had a balcony so the room itself was very. We were able to store our luggage in another room. We liked having the balcony so the smaller room was fine for us but it might be an issue for someone else.

The 2 room we stayed at should be called one room suite with 2 extra beds in the living room. It is not 2 separate bedrooms with doors. No privacy for the other people. Very inconvenient.

The staff was the kindest we encountered our whole trip and the hotel was so cute and charming.

Hotel room it self has spiders . Big spiders and Small spiders, found some on the side of the beds, killed a couple . So itchy , can’t sleep well. Even on the back door entrance ,webs of spiders everywhere . No Aircon as well . Only a couple of fans . It gets so hot . Can’t open the back window the area is pretty dirty as well . Would not recommend !!!!!!!

We loved our stay at the Aarburg Hotel & Cafe. Our room was clean and quiet and faced the river- which was beautiful. Breakfast in the cafe included our choice of coffee drinks, scrambled eggs and a variety of breads and fresh yogurt. We would highly recommend The Aarburg!

Perfect choice for a family or other wise!
I can’t say enough, lovely things about this location and the staff. It was the perfect balance between having staff available to help with our daily adventures while also feeling immersed in the community as well. The owners Tim and Kat are absolutely lovely and the rest of the staff, including Rachael and Victoria were exceptional! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Interlaken area, especially with a family that is ready for a Delicious breakfast in the morning and off to great adventures. Easy to get to from the train and bus stops and very walkable. 10/10

Overall, the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Ours was a very warm welcome, and help was extended every time we requested for something. We loved the place and would definitely come back again if we got a chance.

Only issue we had was when we were leaving and had to park in the front (had no where else to park) to load the bags. We did end up blocking the bus/road, but 1 Irish hostess asked us to move not in a polite way. We found this very rude, considering that we were guests. At the same time, another host was very understanding, and told us that bus drivers don't like it when tourists block the road, which we certainly understand.

I think the staff needs to keep their judgement to themselves and see if they can focus on their job, i.e. making the customers feel welcome.

This was the cutest little coffee shop/hotel! We enjoyed the staff, the breakfast, the location and of course the view! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
